Yip, I’m in a similar boat. Kids off school for a fortnight so we went to our caravan on Friday night. Water feed pipe was fully frozen (I’d drained down the system so no problems my side of the valve) and it also looks like the gas regulator valve has moisture in and has frozen, so no cooking/ boiler etc.

I ended up flushing the toilet with a bucket of water from the river, a very cold experience.

Ended up coming home on Saturday. I too am watching the forecast with interest, hopefully we can get up after this weekend for a few days.

To sour things a bit more, the wife has suggested if the weather doesn’t get any better, then I fit the new bathroom suite instead!

I’d say crack in the paint. Slight deformation of the tube under loading would occur in this area.

There is a plastic quick fit connection on the fuel line, positioned under the tank which leads to the engine bay. It’s a bitch to unclip but gravity will do the rest.

I’ve just bought an android tv box and can recommend getting one.

Netflix, YouTube, internet radio and other tv streaming apps (search for ugoos) on the main tv and sound through the amp and speakers gives a very good setup.

Xbmc app will let you stream over the network from your pc and also allows other streaming such as navix.

One thing, you will need a compatible Bluetooth keyboard or you will be sitting on the floor in front of the tv controlling it with a mouse.

I have a Mavic 29er rim in the shed you can have for postage.

It’s new (as in never been built up) but has some marks from where it has hung on various nails over the years

If I understand what you require correctly, then I suggest you look on the Stauff[/url] website for either a 7″ OD pipe clamp or even an accumulator clamp.
These are available off the shelf and <should> fulfill your requirements. Slightly more robust than the clamp locking mechanism you describe though.

The clutch went on my ’03 93 with the same 2.2tid engine just over a year ago. Was originally quoted over £500 for a replacement to be fitted, but after shopping around, I bought a Luk clutch for £230 and had it fitted locally for £130.

DMF did not need replacing and the mechanic said it was in good condition.

Do you intend to keep the car for another 97k miles?

+1 for Northwind tbh, but if you are to DIY, then set it up on a pillar drill and use a 6mm bit through the bore and clamp to ensure concentricity. Swap out the bit to 8mm and drill through.

    Edit; too slow!

I know if a place with 3 existing ski lifts which barely get used in winter. The fells on which they are built fulfil the criteria of a very good and unique trail centre (think open moorland downhill). I have often wondered if there is any mileage in pursuing this further.

This happened to me with a set if manitou skarebs. I pulled a little jump over a log in Chopwell carpark while waiting for the rest of the lads to arrive and the steerer snapped. I bailed off (as you would). As I stood up very perplexed about what had just happened, one lad said he thought I was practicing falling off. Spoilt my ride that did.

+1 for delrin. Hard with a very low coefficient of friction.

I’ve been Googling and Youtube searching but so far no luck. Those of you of a certain age who went to school in the 60s/70s may remember a hymn, the chorus of which ran…

    Everybodys’ building, everybodys’ building,
    Everybodys’ building day by day.
    Everybodys’ building everybodys’ bulidling,
Everybodys’ building in a different way.

Sorry I cant help anymore than say I’m pretty sure this was hymn number 55 in the blue book we used at junior school.

This is something I’ve wondered about recently. Has anyone tried regular 26″ rear and a 650 front with specific fork to give a slacker ride?

Firstly, good luck. I hope it goes in your favour.

Secondly, if it does go the wrong way, do you feel you have been professional and have conducted yourself correctly? I only ask this because if you have, then your paper trail of emails, personal notes etc will back this up.
A poorly organised company can be very frustrating to work for, especially if you are used to working with good people and working practices.

    Try this website; GPSIES.

Apply the filters to narrow down the tracks near Wakefield, mountain biking, off-road etc to see what the locals are riding.

I had a 2001 model with a 2.0l petrol engine a few years back. Horrible on fuel economy but I loved it. Felt solid, ad in if was ever going to be in a crash, that’s the car to do it in.

It had very good handling, even in the heavy snow and ice we had a few years back. Running cost wise, I needed a new rear caliper as the boot failed and it wad heavy on pads due to its weight.

You are only twenty minutes from Dufton so you could try an excursion up High Cup Nick if the weather is suitable.

Worst; having to choose to leave a job I loved as the company was struggling and was on a four day working week.

Best 1; birth of my son. He is perfect.

Best 2; getting another job immediately and on slightly better pay (although I do miss my old job).
