When I am perusing the finer items in charity shops, I always come across squash bats. Used to play badminton, and we got a load of good quality badminton bats from a charity shop. fine until you go pro.

D'you have a BIG BIKE with a BASHguard on it? Have you ever seen a BIG drop and launched your BIKE, only to BASH yourself up?

You can learn most stuff from parktools website and mates and trial and error. Sometimes you may have an esoteric question that you're not sure of. There's some really helpful bods on here as well though. It's a good place on a good day ;)

I've always got an airtight box full of muesli mixed with chopped prunes, nuts, dried bananas and use the milk in the work fridge.

I think you should just ride it really far, farther than work anyway! you've gotta go past ice cream vendors and coffee shacks on the way. that's the rules. It's gonna feel pretty harsh for a bit but you'll love the easy inclines, distances and speed and wind in yer face. enjoy! if you really don't like it, try another saddle before binning it.

Just ride 'em. Be courteous to people, slow down etc. Canals in London could get pretty busy. If people give you gyp, just smile in that zoned-out kinda way and carry on. No reason why you can't enjoy canals on your bike.

In the heat of the moment, frustration takes over, and sommat needs a good bit of immediate Whoop Ass. Tends to be the nearest thing. Next time you do something that fiddly, blow up 1000 balloons first and have a long carving knife to hand to ease yer tension.
