I may be wrong but only the last two or so years will work in that calculator. I tried it with my older shocks on my 06 enduro and it brought nothing up.

If you can find somewhere near a posh nursery/primary school you’ll get good trade providing everything’s up to scratch.
Ive noticed a few opening here where i live the above site being a case in point, the other just on the edge of fairly upmarket suburban part of the city and it does great trade too even with a few established cafes in close proximity. People take their coffee very seriously these days, stick a dude (sorry highly trained Barista) in a leather apron with a hipster beard and they’ll be tripping over themselves.

For me it would have been about 1994ish, id arranged to meet a guy who rode at the same spot as us when we got talking in a bike shop. I turned up on my pride and joy, a £240 Muddy fox comp my first bike id ever bought from brand new.
The guy i had arranged to meet turned up on a Pace hardtail with mavic ceramics magura brakes syncros stem and seat post etc etc…which he kindly let me have a go on as at that time it was pretty much my dream bike. The next ten or so years after that my bikes were usually worth more than my car.

Ive a friend who made his own fire pit from sheet steel aprox 3 feet square and 11 inches deep, he also made a grill for the top so there was a huge amount of space to cook on. Once everyone has been fed you just remove the grill and it resumes normal fire duties. I’d love to get something along that line myself.

Has anyone noticed Lego being called “legos” by people lately?
Seems to be an American thing, ticks me off big time for some reason.

Your lad might still be a little young, but I’d highly recommend Conrads War by Andrew Davies.
Think i might have been nine or ten when i read it. Wouldn’t mind actually reading it again.

Just converted my Spesh Enduro to 1×10 on Wednesday.
i used an old hollowtech II XT triple chainset removing the rings and replacing them with a Blackspire 30T,not sure if all narrow wide chain rings have threaded bolt holes but it was a straight swop over for the existing chain ring bolts.
    XT 11-36 cassette
XT shadow plus medium cage rear derailleur
    XT 10spd shifter

Seems to work fine messing around out the front of the house, wont get to test it out properly until Saturday. :)

Haven’t played it personally, but i have watched others playing The Last Of Us.
It looks pretty good graphically and the story is reasonably engaging. A few pretty keen gamers i know have said its the best thing they’ve played in a few years.

I’ve a set of 04 Deore disc brakes that came with my Specialized enduro comp.
Haven’t bled them yet and they still feel good at the lever.

I used to get munched on something serious by the little buggers, I think my record was six attached to me in one outing.
A mate from Sweden swore by eating garlic to prevent them and it seemed to work as I never found any after that.

Check with your local locksmiths. I know our local guy can sort out key fobs for a fraction of the cost from the dealerships.

Sonos works well once you get the wireless part set up…which isn’t always easy! I think some of their speakers have sockets for cat5 though if that was an option.
Will work with internet radio,iTunes, spotify etc and can have separate music and output volume to each speaker.

I’ve had rain x work on one pair of glasses and then completely ruin a pair of googles from the same brand as I assumed the lens would be the same material. I use pledge furniture polish on my hockey helmets visor and it’s certainly stops misting, not sure how well it’d work in a downpour though.

Tiling the floor wasn’t something I had considered.. I’d be worried about tools accidentally being dropped and cracking them. With a new build the floor would need to be left a good few months to make sure it’s completely dried out?

Ive a 2005 X-Trail 2.5l petrol book says it should do 30mpg but those things are never close to reality. Great car for a family or anyone who loves doing stuff outdoors. My one has 90k on the clock now and so far has given me little trouble (crank shaft sensor being the only thing of note £90) oil needs keeping a close eye on mindyou. Great wee vehicles for driving in snow etc. Not sure what i’d replace mine with if i had the choice at the moment!

If you are still using that gel or foam in a can stop now, and go buy a decent shaving brush and soap. A good quality synthetic will set you back about £50 but will last for a few years, shaving soaps from Taylors of Bond street or Crabtree and Evelyn are pretty good.. heck Arko shaving soap is better than the crap you get in those cans.
I’d avoid Derby blades as they aren’t great quality especially if you have heavy growth.
Tip of the day though, Shave first thing in the morning before you have breakfast, once your digestive system kicks in your skin becomes more sensitive.

I’ve had a few spd related ones but the accident with the largest amount of spectators was..
Heading across a bus depot parking lot, notice that the bus is arriving in the exit I’m heading for so I get out of the saddle and sprint towards the pathway and (trying to) show off I bunny hop the high kerb and head for the gap between the two steel uprights that hold the bus companies sign.
Problem is, there’s also a horizontal support post which I didn’t notice and I hit it at speed with my forehead… The bike went on and I end up lying on my back doing my best Patrick starfish impression..
As the bus is passing I’m looking up at the whole right hand side of the bus looking down at me with that pursed lip “ooooooo that had to hurt look”.
    It bloody did too!

My wee lad loves wTching these, stamp longnose , anything minecraft or there’s an American kid called Evan who’s being groomed for TV (by his parents it seems).
The thing is these folks are getting paid for the advertising revenue on YouTube. It’s a lucrative business.

I like that, I’ve always preferred muted natural colours especially when it concerns anything outdoorsy.
Looks like a nice clean paint job too.
Some Cotic decals only in olive drab or mid brown would look great.

I have a couple of Motorola XTN 466 radios that have served me well for the past few years.
They are reasonably sturdy and have plenty of options including no roger bleep which I can’t recommend enough as the bleep when someone stops transmitting will drive you crazy after a while!
At a push they can take aa batteries if you run out of power but they are aren’t recommended.
There are plenty of accessories available for them too like earpieces etc.
