I have never thought about work once I finish and logoff. Either for the day or for a holiday. 😀

I’ve not used mind yet, but I bought 2 each of the Alpkit Airlocks 8ltr and 13ltr . I’m not sure what combination will work best with what I’m carrying yet.

I might be wrong, but I didn’t get a second entry option today.

*** The second entry is there now, but I’ve reached my submission level.

I’ve been going to a weekly Monday evening class since the start of the year. I must be honest and say I don’t ever think “oh great it’s Monday spin tonight”, but I do enjoy the experience once I get started. Hard work, but rewarding.

As others have said. I thought mine were bad, until I saw some of the other photos. IMG_20231005_185213

To be fair, I’m much like doris5000 in that I wish them all the best, but really hope league 1 is as high as they climb.

@kendo – if you’ve followed them home and away through the 80’s and 90’s do you know Chris Brannam

He was teaching in the UK and then went over to France afaik.

Sorry, but I don’t know the name, but let’s be honest, with only a couple of thousand regulars, there’s a good chance I’ll know his face

@theothejonv  Since the early 70’s as my Dad hated football so would only take my brother & me down the road to watch CFC. There have been many downs and not so many ups in that time, but what can you do?  I have many similar stories of regret as yours. Love it though and I’ll never stop going.

Being a Chester FC season ticket holder, I can think of nothing worse. 😁

We’ve just used Dino Decking. I used a cordless circular saw for the cutting and am very pleased with it. So much better than the old timber one.

Cheers @davros. I’ll have a look. Birthday coming up so maybe a subtle hint of two. 😁

@davros. What is the frame bag you have on your Occam? Is it a home made one? I assume you can fit the essentials in it.

Get a boot jump. I built a single bed version which leaves room for the bike too.

We’ve booked this for May next year for our annual week away. This is new area to us, so looking forward to the week. https://www.holidaycottages.co.uk/cottage/76183-pine-forest-lodge

This is so sad. As others have said, I remember the street party for the Silver Jubilee. My thoughts are with her Children & Family

My wife once insisted that she had to have the full size rocking horse on sale when we were on our hols in Devon. We had a Clio at the time so that was a fun trip back home 😀. She also once moved the torches I’d left out to the bottom of her case before loading it into the car. 3 Bikes on the back, pitch black and heavy rain to unload in at our cottage in the Highlands. Joy!!

Mine was knocked on when loading it into the back of the van last week. That was a fun journey.

I’ve just rented my first one and was shocked at how slow I was compared to the traffic around me. All ok once we got onto the shared use paths, but I wouldn’t want to use it on the main route into the city centre from home.

@ali69er. I never realised I could do this. I think I’ve just set my Instinct to do the same. Thanks 😀

If you message me your emails I’ll get it sent over. Might be worth asking Jekkyl how it went before following it though as it’s been a while since I was there.

I have the Halfords 1600 on the bars and the 500 as a helmet light. All good so far.

It’s just started in Chester. Sounds loud on the Velux windows, but then most rain does.

I received both the 1600 & 500 as Christmas presents, but haven’t been out to use them for obvious reasons. I have though managed to use the 500 on an unlit cycle/greenway on one occasion and it was plenty bright enough for that.

I had the AZ yesterday at 4.00pm. I am feeling rough today, but have just managed a couple of hours walking the dog. I’m ready for a sit down now though.
