i stand corrected!

i had the 6.9 with 140 pikes

strange they put 160 on the 6.8 – even stranger a dealer not knowing!

the 140 09 wolfridge came with pikes?

they didnt come with 160 forks until 2010 when the rear went to 150

any frame warranty will be void as they wont cover it if you put 160 on a 140 frame (told by a marin dealer)

seems the specific 2×10 are the problem.

Dont want to be spending a lot in parts after buying the frame

just on the gearing side of things, orange say you cant run a normal 10sp double, id want to put my slx 9sp double and bash on, is there a clearance issue with these?

If your heading south, tollymore forest park is great (Newcastle) depending on which day you free I could show you around there.

As said before bigwood is running well at the mo, all good natural trails in quite a small area.

Iv the 6.9 150 travel and does the exact same thing, been toying with changing the shock with a fox rp23 which I had on my last Marin, felt/sounded a bit nicer
