I’m with jova…..just be honest. Making stuff up will get you caught out and if they think you’re being economical with the truth on one bit it’ll throw up doubts on the rest of it

I’m not a big fan of moyles but haven’t they raised £1.4 million. 8O

They’re a load of cosseted celebs so all way out of their comfort zones. I’m sure all the rufty tufty types on here would have done it on their own in a couple of days whilst carrying all their own gear and a downhill bike so they style it up on the way down

Good on the celebs I say.

I was in Halfrauds the other day and they had Boardman hybrids which came with a carbon disc only fork. The geezer there reckoned he could get one as a spare in a few days and it was a reasonable £125ish

I always put one on and then use low tack masking tape to circle the tubes so you get them in the same position on either side….looks naff as if they’re assymetric (or as my old boss used to say…..pissed)

I’ve got a yellow Pace soft shell jacket I bought in 1988/89 which was never showerproof and the elastic waistband gave up it’s stretchiness years ago

I’ve also got a silver & maroon pace racing jacket in vgc which is truly luverly (I think from early nineties)

Take the filter out and wash it out and while you have it out pour boiling water into the outlet hole where you took the filter out and leave it for a bit

buy a dishwasher cleaner and use that

That worked on mine anyway….best of luck

Took my daughter to Woburn and it was kack……either icy snow with no grip, slushy snow or a quagmire. It’ll be a while before it’s back to properly rideable there me thinks

I tried the GU10 LED replacements in our downstairs shower and they were utter shite. Made the room very dull

I would be wary of replacing all the lights in the kitchen unless you fancy cooking in the dark

I’ve not done the measurements or any research but what about a pair of carbom MTB forks like Pace RC31’s, On-Ones or Bonty Racelites.

They come in various lengths for both 26″ and 29″ wheels so you could probably find a set that fit.

Probably need to check the off set too.

    Before I get flamed…..it’s just a suggestion

    Motorbike (big crash)
    Shattered right knee
    Shattered right femur
    Mahoosive gash in left thigh
Loads of internal injuries (emergency laparotomy)

    Motorbikes (wee crashes)
    2 broken ribs (twice)
    Chipped bone in right ankle
Loads of sprained ankles and wrists

    Mountain Bikes
Snapped tib and fib right leg (1 crash)
3″ crack in radius into right elbow (another crash)

Plus loads of injuries when I was a kid and bounced a lot better than I do now

Tell him that under no conditions to buy an 1.8 petrol engined one. The are massively under powered.

nice to drive but bear in mind GM may be going down the crapper sometime soon.

I have Tune middle and granny rings on my 5 Spot. After a years use they still look new.

They are quite thin and seem quite prone to chain suck when things get very muddy. I never got this with the Middleburn hard cote rings I had before

Horatio….trains start above ground and probably the staff can’t get in to run the trains

my GF has gone into work in London….got off the train and then back on the next one home

The trains are running into London but when you get there, there’s no buses and very little underground working with loads of disruption on the roads in London.

You may get there but won’t get out of the station.

r6ymy. No I didn’t. I wish I had the facilities to do stuff like that. It was just for Strato’s benefit. I was trying to find a site that has pics of all sorts bikes that have had massive engine mods. Like a 12 cylinder Z1300 (2 engines fitted together)

I think it’s enamel and it hasn’t chipped yet but I’ve mainly been riding at Woburn where it’s sandy rather than rocky so probably not going to get chipped

Cracking bike….my daughter would have cut my heart out with a rusty teaspoon if I’d done her bike in pink tho’

Good thing about using “adult” bits is that you can go for v light parts that would normally break if you used them
