I’m using a really old DC01 and it’s fine. better than the old Henry’s I’ve used as

    1. it upright and you’re not dragging it around by a hose
    2. uprights have the beater brush
    3. bagless

it’s very important that you do as little as possible with the computer until you have what is recoverable back. anything you do with the computer can overwrite the disk space where the photos are/were and make them more difficult to get back.

I’ve not used it myself but recuva

    http://www.recuva.com/

is a free tool for recovering data and should do what is possible without forking over cash or pirating software.

    good luck

use CC for protection (it ain’t my money if it gets scammed at a dodgy petrol station), and used it for v short term borrowing when I was the only earner, paying all the rent and needed to eat until my 1st/2nd/3rd payday. Now times are better I still use it just in case it gets cloned, etc.

Ta folks. I went and just gave it a good gung-ho twist (the NDS nut was very stiff) and it all came apart as if I’d planned it all along. 5 mm hex on DS, pair of spanners NDS or if like me you don’t have a pair of spanners just haul on it.

I have a 31″ waist, wear 32″ jeans and got the small MT500’s. The size M had a waay baggy arse on me, while the S was just a little tight on the thighs.

Am I the only one who wasn’t toally impressed with the choir and orchestra all the time? they worked great on some songs, but out of place and badly balanced at time. The Fix was also really flat.

Dunno if I’d pay the £20 asked for the cd/dvd

Yesterday I bottled it and slipped to work in the car (not always travelling forwards) as I had beaten the plow around the ‘shire. Ir_Baboon rode in on the MTB and had a great time on the same roads! Road bike today was cold and very wet from meltwater. Icing over on the way home.

An infinite number of mathematicians go into a bar. One asks for a pint of beer, the next asks for a half. The third asks for a quarter of a pint, and the fourth asks for an eighth of a pint. The barman pours two pints and says “Just sort it out among yourselves”.

    The joys of series!

As someone who has escaped from North East Lincolnshire, and who may someday enjoy the freedom of being able to find employment in another country, I feel really sorry for the striking workers who are so scared of the principles of the marketplace that they live in, that they feel they must highlight their own ineptness by striking.

The company who use italian workers can do the job cheaper than the company who use british workers. Who is to blame that Total chose the first of the two?

    1st to reply OUTSIDE!

not really space indoors. Rented so will have to pay for the inevitable damage. 3rd floor. blah blah.

you’ll be glad to know this came from a B3ta competition for photoshoppping some ‘useless tat’ – i.e. a traffic light for bikes ;-)

The ‘shopper clearly loses points for the lack of appreciation of the reflections in the top two shades. With that lack of respect for the details in life we’ll have confusion over brick walls for slate tiles for clay tiles soon!

a spare sheet does the job for me. when I get fed up with that I could get a mattress polythene bag, but have a bike rack so no bother :-)

    This P7

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18695

is digitally regulated and I get almost 2 hours useful light on high out of it. Last week it did 4 days of 20 mins to work and then 20 back when it started to dim.

If the lockblocks are moving then replace the velcro with zip ties and do them up tight.

From previous incidences, make sure that a 3rd party does not buy the bike and disappear with it. That might mean winning the auction at whatever price and arranging a sting afterwards.

Is the ebay bike in the same area?

don’t think you’ll get far without a serial number though.

    Good luck!

    Dude.

Go travelling and carry your single dry loo roll in a waterproof bag with you at all times. You’ll have it down to 3 rolls per poop in no time.
