I was made redundant on Tuesday no warning called into the office to be told by an accountant I had never met, that the company had ceased trading. Took back my company car, laptop and phone. Gave me a form to claim redundancy and notice pay from the government, and £20 to get the train home.

Don’t know where I go from here but started by emailing our competitors don’t hold out much hope of getting something soon.

If there is water coming out the airlock must be in the pipe work so you would need to continue beading until it gets hot

If you are thinking of buying from Cafe Italia just beware they are not in the UK as their website suggests the stuff is shipped from Valencia Italy having said that Both my Isomac Tea and Mhalkonig Pro M came from them without any difficulty don’t know what will happen if I need the warranty.

Reversing is easy just hold the steering wheel at the bottom with your left hand them move your hand in the direction you want the caravan to go. Take it steady and correct early, try to avoid reversing up hill unless you have a 4X4 with a low ratio box or the stink of the clutch will linger for days.

    Have fun.

The police are doing more than you think as part of my job, I visit the recovery yards where the seized vehicles are stored. There are always close to full, quite often with expensive cars. The fine is probably less than than the cost of the insurance but its 6 points, and you can’t get the car back until its insured which is not easy with the conviction.

It may be worth forgetting about a £300 Metro but not a £65000 Ferrari??

Hi I have had one for a couple of years and can’t fault it I like the way SatMap support the unit with regular firmware updates rather than expecting you to upgrade. The online route planner is a bit of a joke so just use walkhighlands GPS Route Planner instead. At £300 it sounds like a bargain I payed much more for mine

Should work on any Nikon DSLR but with a conversion factor of 1.6 if used an an aps c size sensor IE a 50mm 1.4 lens will become a 75mm F1.4 lens

The temperature gauge on the dash will not read correctly if the water level is low the sensor needs to be in the coolant which it won’t be if the water level drops

When you open the fridge warm air replaces the cold air inside when you close the door this warm air is cooled and contracts forming a partial vacuum making it difficult to open the door.

[Anyone use the special Weber rack things to put the food down in with the coals? I was going to try it but have lost the manual]

Hi yes I use them you put the food in the centre of the normal rack not down with the coals cooks a bit like a normal oven but with the charcoal taste I put an aluminium tray under the food on the coal rack to catch any fat stops flair ups and burnt food.

The Premium has better vent control and the bit under the bowl collects the ashes. I have a large premium at home and a smaller one touch in my caravan, the premium does not preform any better and is not worth the extra in my opinion. I got mine cheep at the end of the season.

Weber Charcoal does preform better than supermarket stuff and if you shut the vents when you have finished it goes out and can be reused. The lighting chimney also works very well.

Hi I love my 405 paints ok on my 3 year old model a few scratches but Im not that careful with it. No warranty issues with the frame but did get new stations for my RC41 forks well out of the warranty period, just dropped Adrian an email with photos of the warn through coating and he said return them for service and they would replace the stanchions FOC.
