I think because people usually post when they have problems with stuff. People don’t tend to start threads saying I’ve got x and it hasn’t broken.

I didn’t need one and still don’t but I love it nonetheless.

My Lidl one can’t hold my 26lb bike by the seat tube without rotating. I’ve heard some folk on here have modified them to prevent this and I’d like to know how.

Initially I wasn’t too keen because they are so ugly but I had a ride of one and it was great, since then I’ve even come to appreciate their agricultural appearance.

I’ve badly gashed my knee on two separate occasions when out riding and both times had to use my buff to stop the bleeding. I will be taking dressings out in future.

This ^ – I did something similar and found a bit of slack on small small combo is better than too tight on big big.

I’ve found Cedric Gracia AC 2.35 to be a good all rounder. I mainly ride in the Dark Peak.

I recently lost a lot of body fat by cutting down on beer, chocholate and fatty/sugary foods and sugary drinks. I eat low GI foods in smaller quantities and more often. Still have bread, pasta and rice and I exercise daily.

I came accross this diet and although initially skeptical (my default mindset), the diet makes a lot of sense and from the results people are reporting, it works.

I have made a concious effort to eat more legumes and I now try to get my carbs from legumes for my evening meal. I enjoy bread, pasta, rice and fruit too much to fully commit though :D
