dragged my small rotored maguras loads on a ht on the alps. One ( single occasion) front brake brake fade in 2 weeks.

get all the prep stuff and bleedkit etc should you need one and allow yourself some time to do them properly.

all I am saying is people can be agressive and sometimes you need to look out for yourself if people start sometimes. Violence is really bad tho IMO.TBH it is always best to walk away.

Someimes I am slow to react. During the week I Spend my time being sharp, but at the weekend I try to refresh by slowing down with people – in short I would have been hesitant and done the same.If your out on the town it may be expected but at Swinley, no way.

magura may look a bit clunky ( at least my louises do) but they are amazingly engineered brakes.love mine. I used mine in the alps and dragged the brakes loads ( yes I know) and only once over two weeks did I get brake pump.Still worked after that too.Not too sure about your model though.

my maguras are the quietest although they still make a little noise sometimes.The shimano's are a close second, although I run non standard pads on these. IIRC they were pretty much silent with shimano pads.
