It's great owning more than 1 bike until you cannot decide what one to ride. 😡

I still love GT. Love my moto. Great bike. Gt have in the last few years had some great decent jump type bikes and also some quality lower end ones.In this area thier designs do change.I love their dh bikes.Biggest problem is seeing them. Do not know any bike shops that stock them other than halfords.

I loved it when I went years ago. What clubs did you go to? What music do the main clubs play now? Hows Mambo?

I'd go for a budget build such as a brand x frame or something for commuting and playing.

not sure you can run gears on this though

i'm with boardinbob. seen a couple round my way. Guy's kitted out in trackey clothing riding 8 inch travel dh bikes with the saddle right up. stolen no doubt.

TBH a 14 inch should be fine and would give some scope for a adjustment ie, a seat that's reasoanble high and adjustment by stem length etc. Hard to tell though without trying. I would say it depends maninly on top tube length as even at 14inch frames vary as do some 16 inchers that come uop small. I'd say stick to 14 / 15 inch. 13 may be too small. IMHO.

These are ace! Been running one on my bike with no problems at all. A coke can shim can be used if the size is slightly to big.

Plus Billys are good to deal with.

my steel old school sunn is way more comfortable than the cheaper stiff alloy bikes i've used. Depends on the actual frame i would have thought and the construction rather than just the material.

thanks. yeah the charger is for nicads and working. Used to use it for an old an old Smart offroad unit 12volt light jobby. Good point about the cells being charged differently, although they were both new and should be emptyish.

Ziog, sorry not able to do photo's –

    4 leads. POS A, POS B, NEG A, NEG B.

2 connected together – POS A, NEG A. connects both packs.
    2 to the bulb POS B , NEG B.

    Hope that is clearer.

I'll will check each cell with a voltmeter but am unsure of how to do so in the are indeed flat.

Is the charger polarity to be checked a/c with a voltmeter? or d/c. Is it safe?

    Cheers

you could go down the sustrans route along the jubilee river. This would lead to Windsor if you turn right and the Windsor viaduct / arches ( train goes along the top)and keep going straight. If the weather is hot it would be a loverly peaceful ride and winsdor is very pleasant.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jubilee_River

The route should be listed on the sustrans site.
