love riding on the canal’s. Good for a spin and connecting trials together. I love the smell of the fire’s the long boat homes use in winter.

depends on the dh track. Big tyres, big tubes and low pressures help as does staying back and letting the fork do it’s job. My advice would be to choose the smoothest line down and pick braking points ahead of time, as it can be easy to build up speed and become out of control, unless you mince down.

if i am riding a long distance, say i’ve done 1/2 the ride i’ll tell myself, that i’ve only done a quarter of it…to keep pushing, etc

The male photo’s inspire me to train/ ride harder. the female photo’s do the same but are better. I am sure there’s no harm admiring a beautiful female physique, which don’t forgot have often been aquired through lot’s of dedication to their training plans and sport 😉

depends on your weight but for very cheap have a look @ this.Cannot remember but I think they have a weight restriction on them tho. Also I have never even seen one yet ridden one. Just looked ok for the money.Although s/h is probably the way to go.Most important imho would be to decide what you want. Geared or singlespeed, 24 or 26 wheels, rear brake only, and something that fits you well for your height. Are you going to riding to the trails, ie where are you going to be riding it? Skatepark, local jumps, etc. ie do you need something large enogh to ride to the trials and then put the post down etc. Try to determine the rough top tube length you want ( if poossible try a few bikes @ a shop etc.) and get a feeling of what feels ok and take it from there.

i am only just within the max weight restrictions for the 153 atomic. Doesn’t give me much movement really. Stance would be fine at this length though.

i may also do some offpiste. Been looking at general do it all boards about £250 mark, so nothing too pricey. I think the ideal sitaution rather like bikes is to own a few 😉

I like many which are expensive, but tbh boarding will always come second to biking. I do however like Burton boards and also LibTech.

I think the thing to do is get something of an allrounder and then with my own persoanl preferences determined more get something better, ( if reach this stage). An old board can always be relegated to dryslope use.

currently have 21 inch stance.centre of binding to centre of binding. duckfoot. goofy. left binding at 22degrees. right binding at 8 degrees. Board is a (very old) freestyle board. Length 145. Forgive me if I have sinned 🙄

Looking to get a twin tipped Freeride / All mountain board.

Mainly ride piste, although I am learning switch and can ride smallish kickers. Looking to learn 360’s. I thought about a park board but it will mainly be used for riding on piste. More interested in fun than out and out speed.
