i often wear pads and although it does make you feel a little invincible i wouldn’t say i ride any differently.

i’ve got a RF signature BB and it’s brilliant. Not so sure who’s gonna change the bearings now though.

Did a few races and was a member of Hillingdon Hawks. Still remember those days.Bike had a one peice plastic saddle, uni?? graphite x pedals, red rims, dice dustcaps, ame grips, and tioga tyres.frame was black. Had a Full facer with a large JT racing sticker on it!

i’ve got an old style small one. Pikes and DHX5 coil, FR wheels and DH bars 50mm stem etc on mine. Love it. 😀

doable.done it a few times on 4x ht. may be a bit bumpy – although it may be smoother now.bike can be a bit of a handful on the faster stepped section.

think the main difference when ridden on 20/24/26/29/ would be the distance between the rollers ( or close succession of humps).

i’ve got a car that age. They are very mostly great but can be a pain from time to time ( although mines french!) Nothing a decent mechanic ( not me) can sort though. I’d advise this – If there’s rust treat it with some POR15 from a Frosts. It is worth cleaning the inside of the alloys from brake dust from time to time. After it’s been used on snowy road spray all the the arches / underneath / behind plastic trim – with a hose to remove salt. It’s it worth throughly waxoiling the car too, (or using a similar product)
