The pedestrian and helmet is just a poor piss argument because most off the people have no idea how statistics works.

How many people walk? Certainly way way much more than people cycling. Hence there is more people injuring themselves walking down the street than cyclist riding down to the shop.

One thing it can prevent is people riding bikes. What’s a bigger killer, heart disease or head injuries?

That is a bad argument too. People who will stop cycling to work “because” of making helmet compulsory will probably take the bus + walk, so they will still exercise.

And as no wearing a helmet how much you hurting yourself on the head is oing to coast to the taxpayer?

I though it was fairly obvious where the name commençal came from.
Plus as for the cédille, it originate from the catalan and has been brought to the french in the XVI century with the emergence of printing. It was question in the XVI century to have a t cédille as well so people would be able to make a difference between t in “ceinture” or t in “adoption” for example.

Do whatever it takes to proved safety to your family and yourself. It’s the rule of mother nature. Dog bites bigger animal, bigger animal kill dog.

If I had children I’ll do whatever it takes to avoid them to be bitten by a dog. I can’t even believe people on here seems to thing it’s ok to have a dog bit someone.

    hi steve
If you want to raod ride you’ll be fine, probably scared to death by the local’s dirving but ok.
Off road wise it’s not the best place to ride around.
I know there is a few spots, but Corsica is just a big pile of rocs thrown on the sea.

I suggest you start climbing ;)

Aix en provence you need the x

    juan
    Free Member

Well the spelling of Moët should help the pronunciation.
The O is slightly longer than usual.
Jo the x might be a local as the radio france version would be without the x.

Well Lyon and grenoble are up to local dialecte (like jumps when rudboy peter or WCA pronounce it…)
If you want a neutral French you should not pronouce the X in chamonix.

As for deus it’s from the latin so Déous like in Wolfgang Amdeus Mozart.
Marzocchi is a tricky one. CCHI is pronounced chi like the greek letter chi. The Z is more like tss. So you should say Martssocchi, with a very faint spit on the ts.

In chinelli the ch is like in sh but a bit more like the CH in chamonix.

    Hope it helps

Well DH should be all about winning. I want to see fast people going down scary slopes at hight velocity.

If I want to see cool/rad/fashionnable I’ll watch a world disorder DVD or a Red bull rampage one.

Then for us (us being everyone save GNARGNAR SMEE AND GLUPTON who are riding gods) mere mortals, lycra or baggy wont change a thing.
