I’m 5 11, I will check tomorrow, think mine’s a large sized frame. I was after a slightly more stable top frame length. Make sure you get the neoprene shock flappy cover. Nice bikes.

Oxford, it’s a game of two halves and all that, the third town and gown type place I’ve lived. You can get a range of answers from people, locals may have a different opinion to students. Compare north oxford, with the more studenty areas near cowley rd to blackbird leys.

I tend to drive a lot to get better biking in wales. You could live south of oxford, it’s cheaper but less stereotypically studenty or dreaming spires. Do you want to rent, be near loads of bars, hanker for a kebab on the evening, or do you want a more chilled slightly older lifestyle. commuting is often the decision on location. Do you need to be near a london train line?

more importantly can they ever get anything from me seeing as it is where I’m supposed to park?

Any chance of them adding anything unwanted into my credit history in the process?

if you can get a cheap gaggia brera, it’s out lasted all of our company’s previous gaggias and juras (not got on with the jura at all)

From my old gaggia you can get some great variation in flavours from their coffee, been using them for about 3 years. Sometimes I end with espresso too fruity for my tastes.

I’ve faffed about a bit to get a good crema and not too long a pour.

A simple typo. It was an issue with shirts, not my perspiring shorts ;-)

Sorry I have no experience of USA housewives, but I have a story about my mate in whistler and a cougar…

thanks “not £300 more than a free app on a smartphone” kind of what i think. I actually think garmin’s old etrex was better than the newer cycling versions. Bryton’s maybe came close, but for the moment they have the market sewn up. But once so did nokia …

Paul – here’s my thoughts on the edge touring so far. It’s good, just slightly different to my old massive garmin. I didn’t want the training part of the expensive edges. I’ve emailed Garmin to ask about a few functions I’d like them to explain/consider, probably my user stupidity.

Follow course. I can go into where to > saved > courses then select one of the courses from above. The problem is that I can’t turn off the routing options. It will follow that course but it will try to ‘add value’ to my routing. Can I get it not to use a calculation method? I don’t want minimise time/distance/ascent, I just want to follow the course as I uploaded to the device. especially off-road this is much more realistic than trying to cut across fields or roads/paths. Can I tell it to do less and just follow the route, make no changes to it? If not, can you add this as a feature…I could live with it as is.

Reverse uploaded routes. Can you do the equivalent of the tracback function? can I select an old course and say go to start, or end? when out on the hill, I won’t have a reverse route already created as a course to follow.

[before someone says buy a paper map instead, that’s always with me as well]

not sure you can get skype on chromebooks, seems to be google-centric/hangouts.

I’ll have a look at the chromebook. In terms of typing, it’s more reading emails and clicking on pages/iplayer choices. Skype is used instead of outbound emailing ;-P

As Jujuuk68 said. Fresh beans newly ground, say 4 on my grinder, not too much pressure, just enough. I think the silvia mod is worth the effort.

I’ve always used a co2 inflator I got from tkmaxx @ £4. The co2 I got online for peanuts (a tenner for 20?). After the tyres are on, use a removable core to deflate and then add tyre gloop and inflate with track pump now it’s seated.

[OT] Corsica looks nice. Any recommendations where to stay for me and the mrs? I think I will go there for a week… a house would be cool.

Pretty much. Some come with software to help manage backups, but if you don’t care about that, they’re all just disks. Pay attention to the connection options mac vs pc.

You could go for NAS if you want a more resilient option, but that’s more £££

So I cleared the garden cuttings, the rat popped out and ran into the dry stone wall. So i’ve nipped out and bought a bait box with rodine in it (rentokil stuff). If it eats the stuff, I guess it’s curtains for it/them.

STW – surprised there wasn’t a suggestion of explosives or shotguns, I remember the days threads really got side tracked :P

Any reason people are running UST rather than tubeless ready with the flow-ex? I’m asking because I’m about to buy some hoops.
