Ogm they look ok too, going to see hundreds of these out on the trails. Thankfully I already have a 29er otherwise I’d join in too at that price!!

Have one in my garden too. Havn’t found it’s day space yet but there are so many hiding places!

I had to build a wooden box open at both ends to put the food in as the local fox (and baby fox) not to mention the local cats tended to beat them too it. Now only the hedgehog can fit in.

I blinged it up by using gold aluminium mesh on tie sides too. That way we can watch it munch happily away!

singlespeed inint? seriously though, id be miffed too. I’ll stick to my nice pink ali spidered sram one (that will never wear out as it’s used once a year at best and sits in the parts box until then).

Looking on the bike porn thread reminded me that the Pace 29er is out now! They had a few left from their first batch last time I asked (although the ltd cream was long gone).

Not too pricy either, between a salsa/swift and the niner SIR.

clubber, I’m with you, high bars on bikes simply doesn’t work for me. all my bikes (even 26ers) run a negative stem. Goes round corners better that way!

In the intrest of balance and since these havn’t been round too long to get a loyal following, here is the salsa.

Excellent ride, easily as good as the swift(had one too)if not more versitile and much prefer the cable route, ss solution and looks. Of course each to their own and I’m sure some people will hate and hate my shaggy beard.

    I’m 6’1″ and this is a 20″.

    The best set up:

My brown trek 69er once I’d ditched the mavericks and whacked on some niner carbons. Only just sold it but will always be special! Wish I had the space to keep everything.

Just bought one of the fastrax branded salsa primero frames of ebay. Fully compact but ticks my bike must be slightly odd box. over £1000 for the frame origionally now selling for a fraction more than the cheap carbon jobbies.

here is one in salsa colours (mine is white with fastrax graphics)

Well I think the bonty rl’s come with bonty branded DT hubs ( the rxl ones certainly do) worth checking the rear as I know my front rl has one. You would also probably get more money for selling the hopes.

Although in winter you’ll need to wee on your freehub when it freezes…

Hi, i have a pair of salsa woodchippers which have massive ones! they are 31.8, 46cm too so nice and wide. cost me £55 new and although built and with the usual fitting marks, are otherwise new and unridden! £40 and they are yours…. I used a different pair of these on one of my old CX bikes and they areamazing, nice, wide and very stable especially of road. sold the salsa fargo they were on before it ever got ridden.

Cynic-al, I do have a comple drop bar set up for sale if you want it? Cable Brakes, levers, salsa woodchippers, salsa bar tape, dia tech friction shifters (all numbers of gears.

Tazzy, thanks the info! I love bikes that have somthing special about them. My 69er is one of them, was cr*p with the Maverick forks, but as soon as I ditched them and stuck on a niner carbon, it turned into a dream to ride.

Frame has an EBB by the looks of it, almost worth buying for the parts and selling the rest on.

Rorschach, yep I agree about the old selma and the Ti one is proper nice. I’d love to see the new ali one. They also do the mamista ali one with a bb30, I think there is somthing you can buy that turns a bb30 into a eccentric bb? hmm off to hunt the internet…
