Had 29er Beavers all winter, may not be much fatter but they are amazing and are actually fairly fast rolling. I love’d the mud x but it’s beaver for me from now on.

Damp sucks, hope you manage to get it fixed. Had to replace lots of wood due to gutters leaking when i bought the house. it’s amazing how a simple fix left for ages causes so much damage.

Yep really help with support and stop injury. If you can, get them fitted in a proper run shop as there is a lot of difference in shoes and feet!

Stunning bike!! As an avid singlespeed fully rigid rider for pretty much the same reasons as you, it certainly floats my boat!!!

Xtr/xt with Ali spider or hope floating. Both excellent. Or maybe splash out and get the ice tech ones?

Koenigsegg have always been the top of my lottery wish list. May need to buy some cheaper smaller supercars first to lean how to drive one of these things!!

Has anyone got one of the 29er norco judan bikes? Full build was about £1300 and came with the beltdrive as standard.

Used them for the trans Wales and at the end the only part of me still in one piece were my hands. Awsome grips but for normal riding I also use the much thinner ones without tue paddle. Fit well, last ages and do in thin and fat stylee

I had the same dilemma recently. Came across the Tomac Flint from crc that is cheap and about 4lbs too. They look good and can also be run singlespeed.

+1 for the mavericks but also have a look at the bonty ones too, they have a really good foot bed and fit better than anything else I tired.

Thought so, nice idea. I guess i’m surprised it’s viable to produce even though I know there is a small market for it.

Brighton has gone mad, I was charged £5.05 for a pint of guiness. I was more outraged that they felt £5 wasn’t enough and had to add on an extra 5p!!! Didn’t even taste that great.

Evans have some roval pave sl on sale from £300 to £180 which are about 1650g so pretty light! I think tjts cheaper than the fulcrum r5 cx’s.

Well it looks a bit crap because of the shopper bars and the front QR is on the wrong side

After seeing this happen to a hand, I always put my skewers on that side!

I know your pain after going through practically every ISIS bb out there thinking everyone one of them was creaking, turns put it was my sliding dropouts. I now have a stock of ISIsS bb’s. I you havn’t already, try some copper slip on what ever your ss solution is ( unless it’s using a singulator then ignore me!!). You to may have a collection of perfect Isis bb’s too!

Oh and if it is the bb, my superstar one was poorly sealed and is now crunchy. I am runing a crank bros one that has been in for 2 years no issues.

In The Scottish highlands they are very wise and actually put up road signs saying; frustration causes accidents, allow overtaking
