I have a 2017 Arkose 4 frame. Id like to fit it with 650b wheels and im wondering how large a 650b tire will fit the frame and how using 650b wheels will impact BB height. Thanks.

Hi, i have a 18′ arkose 3 frame. Id like to ask if anyone knows of a replacement fork that have mid length rack mounts for a porteur rack? TIA

I was thinking that if i could get to the shifter-brake internal cable routing on the down tube thru the BB shell id be good.

James – do the ST and BB shell connect or is the BB shell blocked off?

flows – recently had a shoulder replaced and have read how folks in post op have favored flat and alt bars to dropbars.

I was wondering what my arkose would look like using a riser or jones J bend bar other than a drop bar and now i know. I have a j bend bar set up on a CX bike i use for commuting and love it. It would be an easy transfer over to the arkose…..

Ive fit up to 1.8 29er tires and a cowbell 3 (trp mechanicals) on my 17′ arkose.

Ive found two ways. The first was using a road triple running bash guard/44T/30T and a 11-34 cassette. Now im using a FSA 48/32  double and 11-36 cassette. I liked the road triple combo a lot b/c the BCDs allowed me to use many more chainring variations unlike the FSA where i had to jump up to larger cassette. Both times i have not needed to use a road link just medium and long cage MTB RDs.

5-8/9ish on a medium “4” using a 80mm stem with no rise and a straight seat post. Bar and seat are pretty much level allowing use if all the bar hand positions.

Drivetrain question for anyone. I plan on using shimano 5700 105 10-spd shifters, FSM megaExo 48/32 crankset, Tiagra FD, XT 9-spd Mid Cage RD and 11-36 10-spd cassette. Will i need to use a road link to get the capacity ill need to use the 11-36?

Just a few questions if you dont mind.

I understand the FD “pull” is from the bottom, but what about the swing? Is it to from the bottom?

Does anyone use inline brake levers with there mech disc brakes? Can you still get a tight/firm lever is it mushy?

Last one..i promise. Has anyone fitted a drop seat post on their arkosy? model? internal or external? did you have to hack into the frame for the cable?
