its a single pivot starling twist, this is the chain tensioner ive gone for, pretty much the same price as a new derailleur so thought a bit of ss was worth ago.

Replaced the cable and reindexted and now all is good

thanks for the replies i will investigate now.

it previously shifted well with clutch on and off as my first ride the clutch wasn’t in the on position (from when i picked the bike up) and i only realised as i got alot of chain slap, then it was in the on position from then on.

I did notice in the lowest gear the chain seemed a bit slack so that was meant to be my job for yesterday but the sun was shining so i thought id get my “hour exercise” and then this happend..

ive had a twist for about 3 weeks now but 150mm front and 140mm rear. its an absolute beast!
one thing that surprised me was how much easier the climbs feel compared to my old bike (remedy 8 2018). alomost beaten every down hill time around my local too 🙂

yes lets hope we have a decent spring, as around my local riding spots is mostly slop so cannot wait for a bit of dry riding on a fresh bike !
as ive already mentioned the wait is difficult and reminds me of being 10 waiting for christmas but on this occasion im not sure what date christmas will be, ahhhh itll all be worth the wait im sure

well i was looking at the murmur and the swoop for a while but just wasnt sure about going full 29er and i already had a decent 27.5, then out of nowhere as if it was meant to be they released the twist and id been saving for something for a while and i just thought **** it why not, its different!

haha yes exactly the same as me and to be honest ive read everything i can about the swoop and murmur and the limited amount on the twist so didnt really have many questions. at the end of the day its got 2 wheels and the other bikes have raving reviews so i dont really think i could lose. im not good enough to tell the minor differences i just love riding bikes.
