If you are unhappy with the service dont go back. Its exactly how i stopped using bike shops losing all my brake fluid in the middle of nowhere was the final straw. I dont blame the mechanics when they have to spanner and serve people, I imagine this must be tricky remembering what you was doing mid job.

They are a little bigger than normal shoes but once you get used to them they are fine. I have had them for two winters up here in chilly NE Scotchland and never had any sign of cold feet.They have survived 2 Strathpuffer 24h races too more than can be said for my actual bike!! I always had cold feet before when using Shimanos they are okay for a hour but after that my feet always got cold. Hope this helps.

It is a tricky job so is sticking the new glass on neatly. I bought a new digitizer and glasz from ebay for £70 simple job just swapping the internals over. I left the cracked glass for a while but it then pushed through and broke the digitizer. Hope this helps

Thin piece of string feed in one end then hoover on the other then suck through.Just tie/tape something on the end then pull through. I pull a gear cable through in reverse then feed the outer in works everytime.

Waiting in all day for a parcel only to met by the postie in my driveway with a look of shame on his face with his I missed you card pre written out. His excuse for not having my parcel was I am normally at work so I don’t bother taking your parcels.

I bought a Flymo one 8 years ago and it’s been great , I have no idea of model but it been really handy around the garden.

I gained a puppy once, passed a couple but I do ride with a Ipod and dont really pay attention to comments. Passed them and their little doggy rode on for a while looked round and the little fella was following me. I picked him up and cycled back to the owners. I now see them often while out on the same path and give them a wave or stop for a chat.

If you stay close by it’s okay I don’t think it worth a car journey to get there. It pretty much a path through the woods which has loads is switchbacks, It is more a blue grade not a red, however it’s a lovely part of the world and the roads driving up to there are pretty amazing.
