Shimano DX’s are comfy kind of heavy but like wearing trainers, however I dont know if they still make them. Sidi’s are comfy too but I do think they need a bit of breaking in.

It was a little muddy in places but still rideable even up until the last lap, that last bit was tricky but you just had to pick a line and pedal. Seen loads of people walking carrying bikes over stuff.

The most unusal thing I have came across and I think its still there is a Mk 2 Golf GTI front Grill its just lying abandoned in the middle of nowhere. I might start a new topic tomorrow of weird stuff dumped around the countryside. Those in charge really think by selling poly bags at 5p is going to stop all this. What I dont get is the large amounts of tyres lying at the side of the road who changes there own car tyres????

Its not the product or the makers of these things its the assholes who just chuck stuff away. Its really bad around where I stay TV’s,household goods and tyres are always getting dumped. However our council dump is a total joke when it comes to opening times.

That bloke on a E’bike was taking the piss a little razzing full speed up the climbs. Not even sure if he was in the race as there was no number board. Great event maybe I am the only one who thinks its a pretty tough course straight up then straight back down, first time this year the weather has turned up too

The rolls at the poundshop from “the Tommy Walsh range” are a little on the small side. The £8 roll must have loads more on it.

I thought they were getting impossible to get spare bits and the servicing was getting to much to keep them in the air?

My wife bought a couple from the poundshop, they have fell off the fence a few times and split apart. I have put them back together but still work fine after a couple of years.
