I always ask how much first then you dont get a surprise when going back.I asked a shop the same thing on some nice Fox Floats i didnt want to bodge it with a screwdriver and wreck the paint.Went back to pick them up they had used a screwdriver and it looked a **** mess.This and a few other things started me doing a lot of my own fixing stuff.

i had enough of Eggbeaters and moved to Time Atacs the first pair were great 2 years and no problems. The next pair i bought were pants the metal bit that clips you in snapped after 4 months as it was hollow So £80 down the drain.I have switched back to good ole shitmano the £20 a pair version and they are standing up just great.

i have split two hope freehubs both from the pawls out the way.

I have tried the cheap ones and they are terrible off road.There is nothing wrong with the cheapest hydro shimano ones for the cash.I had to adjust them about 3 times in the rain from the top of spooky wood down to the car park.I think they were Hayes

i owned both a 1.9 205 and a Golf 16v gti back in the day i sold the 205 and bought the Golf.I thought the Golf was better to drive on the motorway and still good fun on single roads. Every car i have owned has great memories until you go back into them. I always remembered the 205 as the best car i ever owned and wished i had never sold it but i made the mistake of thinking about buying one again last year.I went for a test drive it shattered all my memories it wasn`t really as good and not as fast as i remembered it to be.

i don`t mind a really sunny frosty day but Riding bikes in snow is not much fun at all.If we get plenty snow like last year i will be going skiing a way better day out than pushing a bike through snow.

of pairs from one. I got a pair of M frames for £25 and i really cannot see anything wrong with them.

i followed a fellow rider down a bit of singletrack at a trail center a few weeks ago who locked the rear wheel at every slight corner. I was going to ask why he rode like that but i thought he would tell me to get lost.

Just remember it will get wrecked don`t get upset when this happens then you need to decide if it is worth building again
