If you want your car to remain undamaged, I’d probably not annoy them too much – ask nicely!

I’m probably over sensitive as since living in my house for less than a year someone has been deliberately scratching all along the shoulder line on the side parked next to the pavement. Then around 6 months ago someone decided it would be a good idea to walk over it, denting the boot and bonnet

If your motor vehicle is that precious, buy a property with a drive or garage – if it’s parked on a public road it’s fair game

I’d love to be able to afford a new property with a garage

There’s a perfectly good, sturdy stone wall next to it if anyone wants to sit down, and no, it wasn’t parked across the pavement

Thanks for the input Moses. I was asking a question. I don’t have a high horse.

It’s my car and I don’t like people using it as a perch, especially when I try to look after my things.

I’d say it’s a crazy idea because the I’d be choosing somewhere with better scenery, food and culture, probably somewhere near the alps

It’s not crazy if that’s where you want to be

Now on to more important things, what job are you doing? I want the same dilemma as you 😀

I always say good morning or afternoon to mr and mrs magpie, it gets ridiculous when there’s 10+ of them in one place

You only have to say hello if there is one of them 😛

‘Hello Mr Magpie, where’s Mrs Magpie today’

    yes, it’s ridiculous 🙂

I despise you both. I’ve always despised you both. You are evil personified!

    no swearing?

I’m impressed that you manage to be so eloquent in a moment of rage, I generally make no sense whatsoever

when I was out of work I’d spend a good few hours a day entering competitions

    I won 2 smartphones (LG & Sony)

    A boating holiday in France

A nice little compact canon camera

A set of industrial shelves for the shed

other bits like t-shirts, sunscreen, wine

It takes a lot of time though, so only if you are supremely bored

    MDF is bloody awful stuff

As well as being toxic it’s also horrible to work with, it’s like cardboard

For some reason my brother told me it’s the best stuff for skirtings and architrave, and as a result, it’s all over my house now

    I really don’t like it

Not wanting to hijack the thread, but how do you service campagnolo hubs?

I’ve got a few sets now, but I can’t work out how to get them apart

Oops just saw above post. I’d still like to visually check the bearings though

    There are too many cats.

I think they’re so popular because they’re a lazy persons pet. All you need to do is put food and water down and they will look after themselves.

If you love cats, why not get a house cat? If you want low maintenance get a goldfish.

The usual response is, ‘well it’s natural for them to hunt and kill’
Well it’s natural for dogs to run around in packs and tear other animals apart, but that doesn’t happen.

Cats devastate local wildlife. People should take responsibility for putting them there. Get them neutered, put a bell on them, don’t leave them out all day and night

Witnessed the last public execution in France, Finnish Army, Home Guard, RAF, RAF Intelligence, Suez, North Africa, Malta, with The Gurkhas at Monte Cassino, climbed Vesuvius, helped track down Nazi war criminals, SOE & Long Range Desert Patrol

I had an iPhone for about a week

Just couldn’t get along with it, it seemed slow and clumsy

It was new, from Orange. I think I probably got a duff one, but it put me off getting another
