    Tignes is good for snow

Not as pretty as some resorts due to it being above the tree line, but guaranteed snow, and thats what you are going for

    I use pitrok

the aluminium in normal deodorant blocks the pores and causes me painful armpit lumps

    not had any with pitrok

banks still seem to be doing fine

wasn't it the bankers that got us here in the first place?

my cousin has been offered a £85000 a year job at Barclays, I'm seeing jobs in my field drop to wages that are lower than what I was on at 18 with no training

    takes the piss

I've had it on e-bay a few times but always ended up taking it off as I'm not paying e-bay £60 or whatever it is they want to list it with a reserve

Its such a nice bike, and I really don't want to sell it, but needs must

I worked out what the bike would cost to build up from used parts and its still more than what I'm asking, and I have built it using a complete new drivetrain, front and rear mechs, chainset, cassette, shifters, handlebars, grips, seatpost, goodridge shifter cables, pedals, saddle…

hopefully someone will see its not the usual hammered, 6 year old patriot you see on e-bay

Wiggle are awesome with regards to customer service

I bought a saddlebag from them a few years ago and the first ride out it managed to work its way open and I lost all my tools

They replaced the saddlebag with a different make, and gave me £50 of vouchers for my lost tools

I'll always use them from now on, whenever possible

    almost forgot

when trimming gear cable with wire snips, don't turn the cable so thats its pointing directly at your eye

otherwise you will spend a full afternoon at the eye hospital having a doctor jabbing around with a needle trying to get all the shit out

when riding a raleigh chopper, don't look down at the gearstick when pedalling uphill

you will ride into the back of a very solid morris minor

I'm not going to name them on here as its someone's livelihood, and I know all too well what its like to be out of work, but I phoned them 4 times to get me a price for a spring for a set of forks, and they never got back to me about it.

I have had a few other issues with them too when trying to buy a saddle and some waterproof clothing. Shocking service, especially as every time I have been in there he's sat down reading or surfing the internet

a certain shop in the Peak District who sells nice bikes has lost my custom by having a can't be arsed attitude

I have a shop nearer that is good for repairs and servicing and he's a nice chap, he just doesn't sell much stuff that I want
