I’ve done one, would have been ok except for the supercilious bloke presenting it

4 would be pushing it for me, I did 5 one night and knew about it when trying to tackle the stairs and getting undressed. I was bouncing around like a pinball

Lovely stuff though. And regarding duvel, it has a really strange effect of making my legs pissed before my head

Curious to hear about the other Belgian beers you talk about

You will be seen as a bad influence

even though i have never been a big drinker and am by no means badly behaved I have had a couple of mates other halves not like me for no reason i could see

Put it down to when i wanted to catch up with my mates it was usually for a few drinks. The fact that they were always a lot more badly behaved than me (like a dog off the lead) was obviously my fault. Nothing to do with them feeling trapped or controlled or anything….

Anyway, the girls have won so i guess they are happy 🙂

edit – in fact i bumped into one mate at a kids party not long ago after not seeing him for about 5 years. His wife proceeded to introduce me to their daughter as ‘the bad influence on daddy’. ‘kin charming. I did nothing apart from wanting to catch up with my mate that i have known since school

Finding the parts was the hardest part. I just bought the frame then started searching. I think I got the frame in March and just finished it

haven’t ridden a road bike for years, so it’s hard to remember what my old one felt like

You feel very on top of the front wheel, feels nimble

I might take it out for a longer ride in a bit

Anyone know of any camper van dealers in the Manchester or Stockport area?

I remember a guy I used to work with bought one from a place that dealt in bongos a few years ago but google is proving fruitless
