I did once buy a fiesta for £100 that I drove to Warrington every day from Glossop, hateful thing but it wouldn’t die

I also had a diesel 205 that I must have ran dry of oil 4 or 5 times (it had a leak) that used to take me to Wilmslow every day. It also refused to give up. I got £50 for it at the scrap yard. Still feel bad about taking it there, nothing wrong with it apart from the leak

it is bloody expensive

and a lot of things are overpriced

you can get good deals on bikes, but forks, shocks and tyres can be a right rip off

I’m on the same tyres I got 2 years ago, £50 an end is shocking, especially when my half decent car tyres (toyo proxes) cost the same fitted

fork prices have increased a lot, £700-£900 seems acceptable, which is frankly ridiculous

STW is probably the wrong place to complain about prices though

Unless something costs 3 times as much as it’s less niche/hard to find equivalent, it’s no good

The fact that in the documentaries I’ve seen him in, he’s supremely annoying, doesn’t have any influenhe’s on my opinion of his acting ability.

Atmosphere was unique, frequently felt goose bumps and a sense of unease, especially with the foggy weather there

I think it would be great with kids, although don’t know if I would have felt as emotional about it at that age
