I’m really not into this car drivers v cyclists, cars v motorbikes, skiers v boarders nonsense

A lot of people are selfish, ignorant, self centred tossers. Just because they ride a bike doesn’t automatically make them nice people

the local scooterists think it’s funny to ride as close as possible past you and beep their horns when they are right next to you

Can someone explain, in layman’s terms, what these are and why I would want them?

I’m not 100% sure but I think they are instead of using a chain device

    No choice where I am

    No Virgin coverage

And the only channels I really watch are the Discovery ones, and as far as I know, it’s either Sky or Virgin for that

I agree with him. And I’m quite happy to let cyclists have both barrels if they are lane hoggers or sanctimonious idiots with a hatred of motorists in general

Yes I guess I am a ‘cyclist’, but not a selfish one. And incredulous as it may seem, some cyclists drive cars too.

Don’t have to ride too defensively as long as I’m always aware what’s going on around me.

Cannot stand the whole 2 abreast thing in built up areas, country lanes and dual carriageways maybe, but doing it when the roads are busy is just plain antagonistic.

    this +1

pedros, I’ve been telling my mates for years

last month one of them came to me and told me they had just got some great levers, from pedros, and asked if I had ever tried them 😕

ever feel undervalued and ignored? 🙂

He started off being really annoying on the naked chef

Then he seemed to calm down a bit and lose all the bullshit and fake mates randomly popping around

    Now he’s annoying again

Stop doing that round and round thing with your hands when you taste something and stand still

    @mudshark yes I’m sure 🙂

Chuck couldn’t sing but that was kind of the point. He was a great frontman and I liked that he wasn’t a polished vocalist

I liked Mike too, he’s got a cracking voice, polar opposite to Chuck

I love the first 2 albums with Chuck

I think Angel dust was the last album I bought

Met them at a signing in what used to be Virgin records in Manchester on the real thing tour

Great band and no one else sounds like them

How would you find work in Europe ?

There must be agencies that deal with European countries, but my searches haven’t found much

The people that have relocated, how did you get your jobs?

I’m in almost the same situation

    41, civil and structural technician

I need a change of scenery desperately

I thought about Canada but like you say it’s a catch 22. Need a job to get in, can’t get in without a job

    I’m now looking at Europe

My main problem is how to find work

Are there specific agencies that deal with jobs on the continent?

I’m thinking of Belgium, France, Netherlands, Germany

    Not particularly

    Christmas Eve alone

Dinner at cousins started off well but had to leave after an hour as was getting sweats and feeling sick

    Rest of evening feeling shivery

Presents have been particularly bobbins this year. Nuts and dried fruit 😐

I’m considering not buying anyone anything next year

    Ho Ho Ho 🙂

It appears I have been transported back to victorian times

A selection of cheese, nuts and dried fruit 😐

Every year beats the last one in terms of being underwhelmed
