steak yes, burger, not worth it

food poisoning is bloody awful

Dogs are infinitely better as pets

Loyal, fun, trainable, can be both boisterous and a calming influence

Cats, easy to look after, they shit in other people’s gardens so you don’t have to clear it up, they don’trespond to training, you never know what they are thinking but it’s usually something along the lines of world domination or how to kill you in your sleep. They kill too many things and cat owners say it’s their nature or some such excuse.

Mk1/Mk2 are quite a bit different to the Mk3

Depends on what you want out of it

Mk1 and Mk2 are pretty basic, light and not much in the way of creature comforts, and are a really nice drive

Mk3, more comfortable, I’d hope a bit safer, and not as much of a drivers car

I’ve had a mk2 for about 2 years now. I like it, even though it hurts my back getting in and out of it 🙂

Honda C90 that had an throttle cable that was too short, as I result when you turned right it opened the throttle a bit. Net result was I ran it into a hefty dry stone wall and my fingers got smashed

Holiday in Majorca. Friend drove the hire car to the bar. He got immensely drunk, decided he was going to drive back to the villa. 3 of us spent about an hour arguing with him, trying to get the keys from him, trying to get a taxi etc
As another lad had ‘only’ had about 5 or 6 bottles of beer, he drove. The driving was fine, but I still regret getting in. I should have distanced myself from all that

Where would sell a better quality switch?

If it’s every day then waterproof shoes or overshoes are going to be miles better than waterproof socks

Boots or shoes that get sodden most days are never going to dry out
