Yup, how about working a soul destroying 9 to 5 job that requires ironed shirts….. now that really is **** depressing.

That’s part of it I think, it’s part of a bigger picture. I was suddenly reminded of looking at the same people on the station platform every morning and evening. I was around 20, looking at people who were 20 or 30 years older than me and thinking ‘is this it?’. The scary thing is I’m 20 years older now and someone is looking at me thinking the same thing 😳

I’m going to find some heavy duty boots and give myself a massive kick up the arse

To my shame I was fully expected the young lad to be cocky and irritating, but he seemed like a really nice guy

I also expected the Welsh guy would be offered a job at the supercar garage

I was watching it for the cars but they both were likeable characters

The boss at the Welsh garage got on my thre’pennies though 🙂

I had a decent ride in Wellington, although as Suzie says some of the gradients were silly steep, and I live in the Peak District

We stayed with a pleasant couple who were friends of a friend. The lady of the house got very defensive every time anyone mentioned how windy Wellington can be. We could hardly stand at one point, but apparently that’s not windy 🙂

Was thinking about some bib shorts, but still £150 in the sale, which means I still can’t afford them..

It wasn’t one of those, it was a thin stemmed wide bottomed glass that looked like a brandy glass to me.

Perhaps they were doing the same thing using the wrong glass

Mines very poor, started coughing Friday night, spent all day Saturday and Sunday in bed

Can’t move. Puked twice last night. Haven’t slept properly yet. I tried to get to the shop over the road today (1 or 2 minutes walk) and couldn’t get there, dizzy and weak
