He’s a total knob, I’m not sure if he knows it or not. Sometimes it seems like he knows that we know he’s a knob, but he’s making a good living from it.

It annoys me when he spoils a film, but I don’t find him as annoying on talk shows when there is a bit of piss taking involved for some reason

He can’t act, can’t do an accent, can’t do any character apart from himself, so basically born to be in eastenders

Lanvin is one that I’ll wear very occasionally (once or twice a year)

It’s a subtle one, so you don’t have to have a moustache/medallion/hairy chest to wear it

Were moving all our bikes to tubeless as default rather than tubed (currently the lowest end are tubed) because it’s so much less hassle than fitting tubes irrespective of any other benefits

I thought they were much more hassle to fit than tubes

Compressor or track pump to get them seated etc

I’ve no doubt got enough tools and patches to get me out of most situations

    It’s purely psychological

The beards and lumberjack shirts put me off

I’m not inclined to buy anything a hipster is telling me I need 🙂

The main reason I’m uncomfortable on a road bike is that wearing lycra makes me feel like I’m half naked and putting tubes and bits in my jersey pockets makes me feel like I’ve not got enough stuff to get me back if I have multiple punctures or mechanical failures

Parked outside the bank in Antibes on holiday

Ran to cash machine, back to car

Gap in traffic, went for it, so did a bright pink van

Looked horrendous at first, bumper goosed, pink paint and scratches everywhere

Friendly hells angel type fettling his Harley up the street from where we were staying, I managed in broken french to ask him about polish

He walked towards me brandishing a crow bar 😯 then used it to pop the bumper back out and polished all the pink paint off. Bought him a couple of packs of Marlboros

It still cost me £400 for a couple of paint chips on the plastic bumper that were about 1cm square

    Removing the Stink from Shoes

Shoes can quickly become dirty and smelly. Whether the odor is coming from your feet or the moisture left in your shoes, it’s fairly simple to get under control. When cleaning shoes, your main objective is to kill the bacteria that is growing and causing the foul smell. This can be accomplished in several different ways.

    Table of Contents:
    Washing your Shoes
    Using Bleach
    Using Baking Soda or Vinegar
    Using Inserts to Remove Odor
    Removing Odor From Your Feet
    Additional Tips and Ideas
    Washing your Shoes

    What You Will Need:
    Washing machine
    Pillow Case
    Detergent
    Bleach (optional)
    The Cleaning Process:
Remove the shoestrings, and soles (if possible) from your shoes.
Place the shoes in the pillow case.
Place the pillow case in the washing machine.
Run the shoes through a normal cycle using HOT water and plenty of detergent. If your shoes are white, you could also add some bleach.
If the odor is very strong, you may want to run them through two complete cycles to get rid of the odor.
    Using Bleach

    What You Will Need:
    Tea Kettle
    Water
    Bleach
Sink (or this can be done outside)
    The Cleaning Process:
Begin by filling the kettle with water and bring it to a boil.
Set your shoes in the sink or on a clean surface outside.
Fill each shoe with boiling water and add a small amount of bleach.
Let this set for a few minutes.
When the water has cooled, dump out the water and wash following the instructions above. The bleach will kill the bacteria, thus removing the odor.
    Using Baking Soda or Vinegar

    What You Will Need:
    Baking Soda
    Vinegar
Sink (or this can be done outside)
    The Cleaning Process:
Begin by filling each shoe with approximately 1 cup of baking soda. (use less for smaller shoes)
Add 1 cup of vinegar to each shoe. This will cause bubbling and fizzing.
Let this set and work in your shoes for about 15 minutes.
Remove the mixture from the shoes, rinse, and wash following the instructions above.

Yes it’s scripted, yes it’s stupid

    but I enjoy it

and I’m still completely baffled why people get so wound up about it

YT Industries bikes look like supermarket specials

I’ve just had a look at their website and the latest ones don’t look as bad as previous years, although there is some red, white and blue monstrosity

It’s not the actual bikes, just the colours and graphics
