Mr Wrecker …well my DT Swiss Tricon XM 1550 are alright for me…Dr. Pedros tyre spanners are the only ones that didn’t bend or snap,i don’t like metal on metal.

mr B Lightyear, ran my cotic soda for a least a year with tubeless rims and tubes = no fail.
Mr Kayak I became reasonably adept at the ‘simple task’ it’s just nowhere near as simple as DT Swiss or WTB in my experince.
    Mr Northwind,pleased to hear it.
Thanks for the suggestions, yes I was quite good at getting tape on (better than LBS)
I did run them tubeless guys it was OK but bugger me it’s a life shortening experince with lovlet Stan so much more difficult than the other brands i’ve used..
I’ll take £289 that’s £100 off what they cost me and they are not even one day old,i just have to take the bits off.

Maxxis swampthing up front ( not the sticky ones unless you have legs bigger the Sir Christopher Hoy,tried them all)
bontrager mud x on the back= not falling off in the mud and on slippery roots and leaves are ok.Skills not required.Perfect for me who doesn’t go into corners considering angles.

I’m was a pretty poor hill climber, much better now after a great piece of advice from a mate ‘ride as slow as you can without falling off’ my wrists are ‘back’ like I’m revving a motorbike on full throttle and I slide my posteria along to the end of the saddle. Now I’m not too bad at all.

Daft question maybe..but is the yellow tape seated properly so it doesn’t interfere with the beading on the tyre?

What makes mine so special.I really enjoy riding it as fast as i can and i don’t fall off it as much as i used to fall off my previous bike.
    Much enjoyment+not too much pain=why i ride.
