+1 leathernan, also Gerber. I had a multi tool snap after twenty years service and they replaced without a receipt.

EV owner here. At this time of year 100% get the diesel, unless you have a fetish about being freezing and laser focussed on a dashboard range counter whilst driving slowly. If that’s the case you are going to have some fun!

Finally, the one where he gets trapped in the snow and (takes a breath) fights a midget Mexican drug Lord in some sort of silo that’s, bear with me here, somehow fortuitously designed to give the aforementioned mini Mexican drug lord the upper hand in a fight.

61 hours, a classic of literature.  I believe the silo you mention was designed as a fallout shelter for children to live in, hence the tiny tunnels (best of you don’t consider the logic around that too much) .

2005 house here, plastic bodied CU (two of them ) fitted.  Had a pod point fitted to the outside of the house and no new box required. All done in an hour.

One stat that jumped out for me was that it’s 0.1% of GDP but 2% of our annual pollution, if that is correct then it is surely an unsustainable approach, or as I suspect, is that a massively simplistic way of looking at it?

Don’t bin it, get in touch with Garmin, I think they even have live chat.

Their customer service is excellent and they have replaced stuff for me out of warranty. Which is not uncommon for them

Reported in cycling weekly that Scott has taken a £137M loan from their parent company to stay afloat

Hang on, I am (probably correctly) assuming that this does not apply when logging in from a trusted site.  E.G the hospital where you work

So you are either logging in from a trust laptop remotely or accessing NHS mail from a personal device.  In which case MFA is perfectly reasonable and sensible. so the option three would appear to be, go into work

Bought four bikes in 2023 and swapped parts around heavily on one of those.  Think I spent more time buying and building bikes then selling them so this year I need to ride loads and buy little!

I’ve never attacked pilots or unions.

saying that repeatedly doesn’t  change the evidence of your accusations throughout this thread.

No, but we think that experienced pilots are subject matter experts and worth listening to rather than random biased armchair bloggers and forumites. so you grow up, smellypants ;)

I have done some of the same routes in another event and a gravel/CX bike should be mostly fine. There are also a few you tube vids onto event with competitors on gravel bikes

I never said they are actively coaching.

you said it repeatedly, you’ve actually said it in the same paragraph here

Nobody sends out a signed letter saying to erase the recordings. What happens with informal coaching is that the old hands coach the new hands in the tricks and shortcuts of the job.

you have absolutely no evidence that this happens, has happened or was the intent in the Atlantic airlines incident.  It’s a massive overreach and frankly bizarre. You are ignoring facts and the views of professional pilots

Nothing is written down, there’s no record of it, but it happens in every profession and every workplace. When the recordings are erased, there’s plausible deniability

supposition without facts or evidence. You’ve have already been told repeatedly what is the most likely explanation in the incident being discussed.

As above, unless the new boyfriend is very relaxed about the whole thing he will have issues with it soon enough.
But, all that is irrelevant.  You need to move  on so you can start living your life for yourself and hopefully have a new relationship with someone over time.   What you choose to tell your ex is up to you,  either let it wane over time or tell her now.

IANAE, but note that actual pilots have already commented.

I’m not sure why non experts are so confident that the CVR operates in line with the engines running, if that’s the case why didn’t the pilots discuss their ‘illegal’ flight plans prior to starting the engines? seems a bit dumb not to?

Is it not more likely that if the CVR is operating automatically it runs when the aircraft is energised, so if it is running from an APU it would continue to operate which is most likely the case here, as the circuit breaker wasn’t pulled to stop it. Engines running or not is possibly an irrelevance.

Again, IANAE. but the conspiracy theory stuff here is lame.
