I only asked about Cycle Surgery as I’m working 5 mins round the corner.

I’m wondering whether to just get a new rear shock for the bike. The bike was 2nd hand and I don’t know the service history. Would like to get it running nice 🙂

Seems to be a few good deals on rear shocks at the mo, just trying to find out the Demo rear shock length…..proving difficult…

20 minute walk/push the bike up – 3.30 minutes down!

Did 3 runs, just getting going by the 3rd one and was time to go.

Will be back to knock some time off in a couple of weeks.

I packed the demo in the car last night, so guess I’m committed to mincing up and down San Marino all evening.

Would take me about a week to ride a xc route on it!?

Yeah, it’s probably over the top on the Demo but I don’t get to ride it much, will be some good practice for my next uplift days. 🙂

We had our fair share of mechanicals.

I snapped my chain then took about 2 days to get my dog sh#tty tyre back on (sorry everyone!!)

The last downhill was flippin amazing! Will be back up there for sure!

The guy gave me a free energy bar to say sorry for me travelling over there. he was sound actually. made a change form the usual “can’t be arsed” halfords shop-worker

He phoned Derby west and it turns out they did have one.

I wouldn’t fancy it. They go both ways on the A516 (single carriage way). It’s crackers when people are passing one cyclist going one way and then someone else starts to overtake another cyclist going the other way!? :O
