Curry’s gave me a refund, amazingly! 🙂 The original 4 that broke last week was just a week away from the year warranty. “Lucky” it broke when it did really. The replacement lasted 4 days….

I’ve used Hero 3+’s with the same battery eliminator with no issue, recording for hours at a time in hot studio conditions.

The Hero 4 just seemed rubbish TBH. Have they just tried to pack too much into it and it can’t cope?

I’ve ordered a re-conditioned replacement hero 3+ from ebay for 160 quid (with a years warranty). Super! 🙂

Will Currys take back a returned item again?

It won’t turn on without a SD card in. usually it does.

I’m going to try returning it and have ordered a reconditioned Hero 3+. The 1 star reviews on amazon are an eye opener for the Hero 4!

I went 3 days before the London Marathon in 2014. I was on the verge of pulling out due to knackered legs. After an hour of having my legs pummelled I felt like a new man!

I went on to win the Marathon that weekend….

How do people get back from the end of the ride?

Is it “do the ride, then jump no the train with your bike and get back to your car”?

Surely there would be 1000’s of people with bikes trying to get somewhere…

Or do you just ride back and do the course in reverse too

The cut off points at 12 and 3.30, how slow do you have to be going to get chopped off at the end?

although the frame is for 150 – 160 mm forks. I’ve ordered 140mm. does that matter? The fork length won’t be different and mess the bike up?

I was looking for a Multi HDMI splitter to have 4 way split screen on one monitor from 4 goPros.

Every company sold them for thousands, I looked on Amazon and they had one reduced from 2 1/2 grand to 250 quid. snapped that one right up! As soon as I ordered it, the price on the website went back up. weird!

Had a great day in work yesterday. I’m currently down in London, staying near Ealing Studios/The Imaginarium, where our Mo-Cap shoot is happening for Star Citizen.

A Colleague and I are doing the 3d head/FACS scanning sessions. There’s some well famous actors lined up over the next few weeks. Proper Hollywood A list! 🙂 Very exciting!
