    ve added air.
You lose air when you reconnect the pump.More noticeable on the neg chamber as the air volume is very small.

Sounds like this year`s Revelations are a bit too much then.Reba 120 Team Maxle sounds ideal but they are a bit pricey.

Try car wax first,if the scratch still shows try something mildly abrasive like t cut, then wax after.
If its gone through the top coat, try one of those coloured car polishes.

If his time is so precious whay did he take so many words and go to such effort when "**** off" would have been so much more succinct?

    When I

ve used hot water with a little detergent to thoroughly wash my discs and then dried with a clean cloth or paper towel.Sanded pads with light wet or dry, until dirty deposits are no longer seen on the paper. Then replace and do some hard stops until they generate some heat.Worked for me!

    Can

    s

t seem to be that common, and ormally are in 120mm only format.

Given that they aren`t much heavier for than a Reba maxle lite for 2010 (at 1730g) how about Revelation air u turns with maxle lite, that is if your bike needs/can use the slightly 120-150MM longer travel?

If Brixton cycles are the wrong side of town, you could try Condor on Grays Inn road or Mosquito bikes in Islington.

What Cy says makes sense. If your arms are wider apart you won`t be able to reach as far,so the shorter stem suggestion makes sense.

I am 6ft and sat on the medium Soul at the Cycle show and with wide bars,it felt spot on,which was strange because by looking at the frame sizing I would have thought the Large, but it goes to show how different bar width, seat layback and stem combinations have on fit.

Best method of insulation is to insulate the wall externally.
No issues of interstitial condensation as the whole wall structure beneath the insulation is kept warm,so no cold briging either.
The drawback is that it is expensive compared to cavity wall when used in a retro fit situation, but is worth considering if your walls are in poor condition or you other were going to render your house anyway.

Many modern buildings do away with the cavity altogther and use aircrete with external insulation.
Wih this method and the right specification of insulation,it is possible to have a house so well insulated that, little or no heating is required, what is known as a passive house.

Ground source heat pumps and solar energy can be used to genrate what little heat is required.

Evans cyles also offer fork servicing via their Kendal branch. You can arrange for your local store to send them off. There are more details on their website.
Evans and Fisher are both cheaper than TFT,though my expereince of tft is very favourable, and turn around time is very quick.

Those little Tesco ones are very good.I bought one recently. They are the same as the Sigma leds (I have the white version on the front)and that cost me £6 in Decathlon.

I have been twice before and will go again this year.I like looking at the smaller stands,of manufacturers such as Cotic,Singular,Enigma, etc whose products you don`t get to see in your LBS.

No way of telling unless you go and try some.Road frames vary even more than mtbs.I`m 6ft,and my Trek is a 58,I fit on a 56 on Specialized, and 54cm on others.

I have an aluminium XTC which has Rebas.Originally they were set at 80mm but I removed the spacer to give me 100mm.I was quite surpirsed at the difference. It seems to give a lot more confidence on the descents, with little detriment to speed of steering,or climbing,so well worth it.
SID and Reba are very similar except for the 100g or so lighter build of the SIDS.If you go for the Team version of either you get the better blackbox damping internals, which makes them more controlled over high speed/repetitive hits.

Giant sizing is a bit of a problem for those of us of a particular height.

    I currently have an 06 Giant XTC in medium.At a smidge under 6ft I

    a

t like the gate I feared it would be.

Giant now do M/L in some of their road bike range, and it would seem to make sense for them to do likewise on their mtb range, for those of us between 5ft 10 and 6ft 2.

At 5ft 11,I`d try an M and an L,(if you can find anywhere with an Anthem in stock….)back to back if possible, but for the sort of riding the bike is aimed at reckon the L,would be the way to go.

I did the Reba travel adjust thing myself recently.Had a slight issue with the air seal, but that was down to me being a tight arse, and not wanting to spend £24 on the air seal kit from TFT.So i ended up doing them twice, but it was so easy it seems, daft not to give it a go.Second time, with the new o rings fitted, and new oil and they

d be happy for them to do it.

Worth mentioning, that the TFT service includes both the air seal kit and the stanchion seal kit, which would cost you, over £50 to buy yourself.Plus factor in the cost of sockets,15wt oil,a rubber faced mallet, etc that you may not have or be able to borrow………
