Take a look at the Agu Inceptors in the Planet X stock liquidation sale, cheap as cheap and that stay put ( at least they do on my big napper)

I scared the crap out of myself when i got into a bit of speed wobble on my daughters zFlex longboard a while back. I still keep toying with the idea of getting myself something a little less challenging though – some people just never learn!

I thought the “Joe Cocker has died” thread was dead but apparently it was just tired and shagged out after a long squawk

I’ve nothing to say about the van, but good luck with the business.

I started in the same line 5+ years ago, and its been great, letting agents now account for less than 25% of my business.

Yes you need to register the business and definitely need the Public Liability Insurance, I’ve done my own tax returns all this time but I don’t like it and will probably get an accountant this year.

The Opinels are cheap but not great for extended use, the Mora Classic is a simple every day knife and the wood carver is pretty similar but I reckon its a bit too long for a whittler. Try the Mora Eric Frost 106 or 120 for more control. http://www.moonrakerknives.co.uk

You’re into brick so you could do a floating type bracket – screw threaded rod into drop-in anchors then depending on the thickness of your shelf either drill holes to slot onto the rods, or put a couple of o-rings on each rod and sit shelf on top?

Earlier this year, on the cut trough at the end of R15 at Swinley, front wheel hit a small stump, cue a rapid deceleration; midway through the inevitable otb I experience a sudden tackle/stem interfacing. 9 months on and the old fella has distinct socialist tendencies!!

Got an early present yesterday, Mrs JJ said I could buy a road Bike… woohoo! just need to fork out what I want.
Today, early ride round Swinley, quick breakfast and card, then off to youngest little JJ’s school to help set up the tea tent for Royal Ascot week.
Eldest little JJ made some nice Strawberry shortcake for pud.
    Now sitting with a beer.

Thanks Kayak, I’m quite pleased with how it turned out, especially as the design was in my head!
