They won’t have it any other way in some markets, personally I agree with you but I am but a UK consumer brought up with the humble square tea bag

Well the C51 gives us the traditional English square teabag, simp,e to use, simple to store and some might say gives a larger surface area for brewing. The C24 is more common in Europe but has infiltrated the uk stores over the past few years. This format offers, in some people’s opinion, a more premium feel due to the individually wrapped bags and the string and tag which offer a more interactive brewing experience.

I could bore you senseless on C24 and C51 🙂

Don’t listen to CHB. Only one place to go for your earl grey and that is Twinings. Sorry CHB but you have to admit defeat on specialist teas 🙂

Cheers Selled, if my memory recalls the offer 7 months from now it would be good to have at least one run out while there 🙂

My wife has a Nook and it’s been absolutely fine for a year or so. No complaints and it was only 30 quid

    It’s booked 🙂

Staying at the hotel recommended by mick-r at the halfway point and then have bust our budget by staying here for 12 nights Hotel Seerose[/url]

Now I have to wait 7 months and ponder whether to bother taking the bike or hiring. Can’t wait, trys not to wish life away 🙂

Thanks for all the advice and help.

Even smaller word Selled, I am 4 miles from Wickham in Fareham 😀

I am now in a quandry, I have been going through all my loyalty cards to see if I had any points worth using for hotels and stumbled across my BA Card. Turns out i can book a family room for 44 quid in Frankfurt, problem is that it doesn’t say anywhere whether you need to use it in conjunction with a BA flight.Nervous to book in case I get rumbled.

OK the hotel is chosen, well either here, Hotel Seerose or Selled’s link if we choose to go self catering.

Now the issue is where to stay en route. Can’t find a bloody family room(4) for a decent price near Frankfurt which is about half way. Plenty of 2 room options in crappy places mind 🙂

No rooms at the inn for the dates we need Mick_r. Looked good as well, wasn’t even slightly swayed by the mtb guide 🙂

Ok so the boss is loving the look of the place in selled’s link. Anyone have any preferred routes to drive? Euro tunnel? Ferry? We are based in Portsmouth.

Hoping to do it for between 1.5k and 2k for 12-14 nights. Trying to persuade my wife that a 1k short term loan just to help us along would be a good idea. It looks awesome, not sure how it’s kept off the radar for so long.

Camping would be a possibility but had a few iffy experiences in France with cabins crammed together. We are a bunch of introverts so like our privacy 🙂

Selled, that looks awesome, really beautiful price is a tad outside of budget for 12 nights unfortunately as we will hit high season.

Alpin – we are looking for a bit of activity, walking, cycling, wild swimming. But we also need to consider the two children and the possibility they could find some friends to occupy them for some child time. That was why the hotel options was favourable as there is likely to be a fair few families poolside.

This all sound very positive thanks chaps. Will look at all the links and post back some questions, if you can be arsed to answer them that would be great, if you are going out to the pub then don’t let me hold you back 🙂

Sounds like some interesting rides being planned, I need to get out there again, got out of the habit of night rides over Christmas and haven’t got back into it yet.

@bikebouy and Jam – still haven’t really found a ‘myriad’ of Singletrack in Botley woods. Been there a few times now and even though the fallen trees have now been removed it still seems like a small loop and nothing more. Am I missing something?

Well that was a bit of a job in the end. Had to take the whole caliper apart and get the unit in a vice and apply significant pressure to the Pistons to get them to return. Got it sorted eventually and today have bled and fitted new pads, working like a good un now 🙂

Ok so I am looking at as big as I can afford at 1080 with as many output points as possible. What sort of additional fun stuff for a fully connected house can I get using a Mac as the main device? Or do. Need to buy some kind of server gizmo for that?
