I can deal with it. However my worry are my 2 young boys. They struggle to understand what’s happened to their mummy.

    Parking

It used to be that some shows had free parking.
We once parked in the free parking show car park and walked (a long way) to our show in which you had to pay to park.

    £100 for some grips!

“All the features you want” on the Camel Back commute

Except waist strap pockets. So useful for keys and phone. Meaning you can get to them without taking the pack off.

Putting a few squirts of bleach in the toilet bowl is not cleaning the toilet.

Put the new food at the back of the fridge shelf not the front.

Pick things off the floor instead of walking past and saying, “There’s a what ever on the floor”

If a drawer or cupboard doesn’t shut you don’t just push the drawer or door harder.

Have something like a cut down brush handle sticking out of the wall and clamp the stand to it.

I was wondering how to store mine and your question got me thinking.

I used to get the ferry from Immingham to Gothenburg. It was the DFDS freight ferry that allowed drive on vehicles.
I am not sure it is still running or still allowing non freight. Worth a look.

Ford Tourneo Connect LWB. I can get my bike in upright.

If I take wheels out I can get 4 bikes in the boot.

Interested in this too as I am TSOhost customer who is in the same position.
They have updated my account with lots of new features that I don’t actually need and put the price right up.

The best article I have read for ages. Huge respect for the level of suffering these people put themselves through.

What I don’t understand is why people park half on the pavement and half on the road. This still blocks the road and doesn’t allow 2 cars to pass each other in opposite directions and blocks most of the pavement not allowing prams past.
Leave the car on the road and leave the pavement clear.

I had a Kitten which was great fun to drive. The turning circle was so small I didn’t need to do hand brake turns.

Then I dropped in a 3.5 litre V8 and had some real fun.

Out of all the cars I have owned it’s the one I would love to have back.

    Condensation trap.

I also run my fan for at least 20mins afterwards thinking it will keep blowing air through and minimise moist air in the duct.

You think you have it bad on 27.5” I am still on 26” so my choice is very minimal.

The alarm needs to go off when breaking in not when the intruder is in.
Therefore I would have shock sensors on doors and windows.

Use both lanes sign at road works. Do I have to drive with 2 wheels in one lane and 2 in the other or drive in one then the other?

Quad bike for a vehicle with 4 wheels not 8.

Problem with cars is that in 20 years time it is likely petrol supplies will be very limited and usage restricted.

Cars will be electric and autonomous.

I am riding a 2008 bike and have upgraded over the years.
The best change was tubeless and light tyres.

The next was , and I never thought I would say it is 1x from 3x.

I don’t have a dropper post and never will for the cross country flat trails around Coventry. I prefer the less weight and simplicity.

Main thing is get out and ride and have fun. You can do that on any bike.

    Post Hill.
It’s not just the steepness it’s how rough the cobbles are.
It’s a case of getting down the steep bit as slowly as you can / as fast as you dare then getting under control before you get going too fast on the easier less steep bottom section.

It would be interesting to try Post Hill on a modern bike.

Bet it’s still scary and a challenge.

My brother first did Post hill on a hard tail canti brakes and elastomer pace forks.
He went into work and told a lad about it.

He heard nothing more from the lad until a week or so later he came in with a bust wrist having fallen off trying

    Post Hill near Leeds.

    Still scares me.

I got excited when I read small wheel lovers thinking I could get some tyres for my 26” wheels. But no it’s medium sized wheel.

I still have mine as my main bike and love it having recently gone 1 x 11 saving over 1kg weight in the process.

Mavericks regularly come up on eBay as complete bikes and sell, for around £500.

I would expect you will get £200 to £300 for your frame and fork.

Wappenbury is ace. Brandon Wood is worth an explore.
The woods either side of the Kenilworth Road between Gibbet Hill and the A45 are superb.

It takes a bit of local knowledge to piece together all the best bits though. No one place is enough for a decent ride.

Yes have done for years. I always rinse off with cold.
People don’t believe me when I say it warms me up and I come out the shower feeling really warm.
Also convinced I get less colds and if I do get one it’s not as bad.

Actually the real reason is I am a tight fisted Yorkshire man and it saves me some cash.

I replaced my battery on my 130 and it was a pain to do.
There is a company that will change the battery for you whic is the route I would go.

Look at the Garmin 130 forum. There’s loads on their regarding battery life.

Still using a Ti Use post from the 90’s on my Ti single Speed.
Post is fine, though had to make a new part for the seat clamp.

That is so sad. The amount of work the team put in and that happens. Also sad to hear that sort of thing goes on in the IOM. When I visited everyone seemed very tolerant of others activities be it motor bikes, horses, walkers or bikers.
I am sure Nigel will come up with something for next year.

Ok thanks for the advice. I need to encourage youngster to have a premier league team and oldest to have a lower division.
