My Archie will chase anything that runs away from him as well.

We don’t have cats but I’m sure if a cat had been here before him he’s be fine with it. He loves chasing cats now until they turn and stand up to him he $hits himself and backs off straight away. We are surrounded by wild rabbits and he will always chase then but stops when they duck under the fence, he knows not to follow them and he’ll never catch them as well.

One word of warning HAIR LOSS, if you’ve got wooden floors you’ll be laughing otherwise buy a really good vacuum cleaner and don’t bother putting it away.

I couldn’t see for laughing at how well my fat front handled on the snow.

Just wait until your fat back end turns up, it takes it to another level.

FRC – It’s fanstastic in todays snow. Tomorrows ride on the frozen snow and ice might be a different story.
It feels very stable in the snow and sand over “our” other bike but with 50% more weight

    As Pook says

Keep on phoning (twice a week) the ones you want to find you a job, there are a load of rubbish ones out there.

JohnClimber (3 months out of work, using agencies, now with great job started in August)

I got it from a niche agency I’d never heard of or used before but who who saw my CV on Monster

the Gopro has 2 angle options, one of which is a fair bit wider and the other slightly narrower

Which angle is the one used on Cubemeup’s clips?

Is there much of a difference between the 960 and the 1080 apart from £130?

Very fast (much faster than me) great for 2 to 3 hours. Not comfy for any longer or over very rough stuff.
It’s 20.3lbs but you do need to chose the ride to take it on.

“What would build and why ?”

I’ve already got a Jones so I don’t “need” another.
Why? Quite simply it’s the nicest bike I’ve ever ridden.

But for riding the beaches I’ve got a Salsa Mukluk on route as the Jones does sink in the sand a bit even with a fat wheel up front.
This could be built up with stanadard 29er wheels as well.

I guess you’ll have a bit of a wait now until the next lot come in. I think Stu got the last one.

Slightly off topic but I work with air to water heat pumps for the swimming pool and fish pond markets.

R410a is the best gas out there at the moment but within 2 years there will not be a drop in the COP levels when the temp drops like it does currently.

An owner of a big garden centre once told me he doesn’t salt his large car park because he was told by a health and safety officer that if he salted his car park once he had to do it every day that it fell below freezing. If he didn’t do it one day or he ran out of salt and someone fell over they could sue him for not salting his car park.

Even if they fell over at one end of the car park while salting the other end they could get sued.

So no salting at all equals no sueing.

JohnClimber, how wide is that Niner fork? Can you stick a Pugsley wheel in there?

There’s enough mud clearance for 2.2(ish) tyres but no an Endomorph or Larry couldn’t fit in there.

Niner Air 9 with carbon fork, 20.35lbs and much faster than I am.

I had one for 3 years and 110,000 miles.

    Never again.

Great for the bikes in the back seat area, fast and fun at times but my main problem was the very stiff suspension and firm ride, ok if your not doing the high miles that I am but not fun mile after mile.

I did get the range topper with the lower profile tyres thrown in, so if you are going to get one by one with thicker rubber on smaller rims and you might find it helps.

And it wasn’t as economical as the book said as well.

As for the rear bar I quite liked it as at night it normally hid the following cars head lights.
