Ask as many questions about their organisation that you feel that you can get away with, but not obvious ones that you can find out online or that you should already know.
But interesting well reserched questions that really shows that you are interested.

Unfortunately I have a weird proprietary bolt thru axle on the bike, so it won’t work. I knew a dynamo was one of the things that I knew I would miss once I started looking into it.

You can get dynamo’s hub for bolt though axles, I use a Fat one on my 29er+ because of the fat fork on it and it runs the really good K-Lite very well

Is that a stuffed badger tir?

I only say that as it’s hair is in the same place on each shot, as is the angle that it’s looking down and to the right.

    If it’s real I’m sorry

Hope you get it back. I’d hate to lose mine

A quick search of ebay brought up your post

Good idea but if the scum bag who took it wanted to sell it on quickly do you think that seeing this would stop him showing his hand and maybe dumping it, or holding onto it until it’s gone quiet?

Badger and his team won’t like it, plus parking on the road up to the trail overnight will cause future issues with the neighbours when they want to expand or do work there.
But parking in the villages or nearby pub car parks (with permission) is not an issue and taking a sleeping bag arriving after dark and using the trail centre cafe for breakfast is a great idea.

and isn’t something oddball like a Lauf?

Nowt wrong with Lauf Carbonara’s if you ride XC with your wheels on the ground.
(plus you can’t see them while riding them)
    I love mine

    A debatable 2/10
We have a BBQ in the garage but haven’t used it this year and only once last year.
We have 2 sets of coasters in the same room, so I don’t count these as matching but the wife does.
    Working class and proud.

8 1/2 hrs is WAY TOO LONG to leave a dog on their own.

Are you SURE you’re really in a position to have one?

If you can’t halve that window at least, then you really shouldn’t be thinking about getting a dog.

    Agreed,
Our’s is left from 8.45 until 1.20 each day and that’s more than enough.
DON’T GET A DOG UNTIL YOU CAN GO PART TIME OR RETIRE.

Had a Legacy estate as a company car way back and before the taxman thought about emissions and taxing them and my god it was a great car.

No idea about the fuel economy as work was paying for it and business was good so no one looked at that sort of thing but I know it was high with my heavy right foot at the time.

Not much help I know but great memories of a fantasic car

For someone who has spent more time on this thread than actually riding a Jones around a campsite this thread would have died long ago if it wasn’t for Molgrip’s “input”
Making the rest of us wax lyrical about our bikes.
Could he be on Jeff’s payroll as it’s a great advert that he doesn’t have to pay for?

Mine is the one Steve Worland rode for this review

    http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/bikes/mountain/product/review-jeff-jones-spaceframe-custom-08-31620/%5B/url%5D

” “The ride will inspire anyone who buys into Jeff Jones’s philosophy”

    Verdict: very special

There’s something very special going on here”
