Davesport – Are you using Stans in the inner tubes or have you managed to run them ghetto tubless?

Got a thorn puncture on Saturday through my Nate tyre.

But not really that bad given the mileage I’ve ridden it, possibly the very low pressures keep the puncturers at bay.

The tyres came off so easy I was able to patch the hole with the tube and tyre still on one side of the rim.

I’ve only had one other puncture while on my Nate’s (maybe they are slightly thinner) but the Fat Larry’s and BFL’s have avoided such problems (so far)

My 11 speed was gear slipping a over the shop at the end of Thursday’s nigth ride.
I took it to the LBS who built it up for me, with a bit of cable tightening and lining up the yellow dots in 6th gear I think he sorted it as on the test ride outside the shop it worked better than ever.

I haven’t tested it in ernest as yet though.

Are you sure, according to Wiki – The world track record for men is held by Kenenisa Bekele of Ethiopia in 26:17.53.

Is it correct that ALL STW’ers have to be sporting a red carnation in their lapels and a white hanky hanging out of the bag of their baggies?
And anyone from Bikemagic are meeting up in body armour?

Is it me or does everyones Endomondo claim to do 10 to 20% more than they actually do?

I did an Endomondo run yesterday (I’m not in this gang btw) and it said I did 11.47km but doing it on Memory Map it worked it out at only 9km. Where were very few corners etc.

My Cooper D is fast enough, cruises at 90mph with no problems (on the Autobahn of course), nippy off the mark and cheaper tax.

Just 42mpg with my heavy right foot, so the SD will be even less, do you pay for your own fuel?
