    More details here

    Full details:

    Step 1.

Register your mobile phone with the service before an emergency happens. Important: You will need to register again if you change your mobile phone numbers.

    Step 2.

If an emergency happens we advise you only to use SMS to contact the emergency services if you have no other option. This is because it will take longer than other methods such as 999 or 18000
When you need to send an SMS text message to 999 and you cannot use the standard voice 999 service or the Text Relay 18000 service create an SMS message containing the details below:

    Which?
Need Ambulance, Coastguard, Fire Rescue, or Police

    What?
    Briefly, what is the problem

    Where?
    Exactly where is it
Give the name of road and town

    Plus more information like:
    •house number; or
    •nearby landmarks or main roads

For example your SMS text message might read:
‘ambulance. man having a heart attack. outside post office. valley road watford’
If you include this information the emergency services will not have to ask as many questions and will be able to respond quicker.
Please be as accurate as possible when giving the location. The better your information is the faster the emergency services will be able to send help.

    Step 3.

Now send the SMS message to 999.

    Step 4.

The emergency service will reply to you asking either for more information or telling you that help is on the way.
Do not assume that your message has been received until you get a message back from the emergency service, an SMS ‘Delivery Report’ does not mean your message has been received.
It can take around 2 minutes for you to get a reply to your emergency message. If you have not received a reply within 3 minutes then we advise you to send another message straight away.

I hope it’s good, but I also hope that if it’s poor we all don’t start slagging it off.

At least someone’s making the effort to get cycling on TV.

Galaxy 1 was great for what you want but the GPS wasn’t brilliant

Upgraded to the New S3 and it’s awesome, just awesome.

Go for the 3 not the 2 if you can

Many thanks for those of you who donated to my Just Giving Page and to Chipps of Singletrack and Richie of SilverfishUK for donating lots of prizes to the person who has picked my finishing time once I’ve cross the finish line on my fat bike at this years Isle of Man End2End in September.

Just to let you know I’ve just sold the last of my 200 time slots for a fiver each, plus more from others who have donated but did not want to enter into the prize draw I’ve raised £1150 and with another £50 or so still to come in for a mini Auction that’s still going on.

Once again many thanks and if you’re names on the list I wish you luck and I’ll be in touch after the race in September.

    Thanks again

    The nagging stops here.

But please feel free to carry on donating but there are no prizes left to win. http://www.justgiving.com/johnclimber

I had the standard diesel Civic so the only thing I can tell you about is the ride.
Even with normal alloys it’s ride was very harsh, I’ve say the Type R will be even rougher. Apart from the ride it was a great car.

Don’t change it now John !!

Don’t worry, it’s been hard work getting to this point and now with less than 30 slots left I wan’t to make it as easy as possible to finish it off, do the event and hand out the goddies to the winner.

And thanks again to Chipps and Richie from Silverfish
