Bloody hell I only asked for where to go in your lovely county and not a slagging match between locals.

If that’s what the local welcomes are like there’s always other places to take our tourist money.

Cheers for the guiding this morning Harry.

I stayed until 1 and did a few more laps

Fastest lap was under 20 mins (but I did miss the climb 1/3rd of the way in back up to the field on this lap)

Flickr is free for the first (a guess) 200 photos then there’s a fee every 2 years of about £24 (another guess)

can’t see any mention on the woollybacks forum ?

It’s in the members only section, but there are 8 of us there tomorrow.

The forecast looks great for tomorrow.

My question is What factor sun cream will be needed for North manchester in December?

Or will the mud do the job?

You need to be a competertive sort of person to succeed in a field based sales role and you have to not mind mindless miles and miles of motorways and traffic jams

It’s not miss timed, as you are opeing the entrants on New Years Day midnight aren’t you?

How long are you going to leave it open for?

BTW there will be about at least 7 Woollybacks there this Sunday morning, but I’ve invited all 30+ entrants that we have.

What do these weigh and are they any fun on ‘ normal ‘ singletrack, trail etc? ie ones without snow and sand?

32 lbs or so, so forget about speed records as it’s all about fun and smiles per miles

In starting to come round to the looks of them u know.. Doubt I could justify one for the amount of time I’d actually use it tho…

Once you ride one you’ll find it hard to get back on your “normal bike”

Plus you can get one of these on the C2W scheme for about £57 a month

    What’s not to like?
I’ve just ordered one to make it my 2nd Fat Bike and I’ve got a half fat as well.

Once you ride fat you can’t go back 😉

Went mid year several years back, only saw one whale and no Northern lights (it was summer).

A great place to explore, hire a car and travel but take in The Blue Lagoon.

We flew from Glasgow and stopped at the airport near the Airport in Reykjavik, the bus station has affordable food but the rest of the places to eat and drink are very, very expensive

Fat Bike ride yesterday for Gloal Fat Bike Ride day

34 flat MTB miles this morning with patches of black ice after a bit of rain first thing this morning made it a bit interesting. Ten minutes in the shower to warm my bones back up.
