I’ll be needing someone with industrial sales experience based in the M4 area south/central in about 3 to 4 months.

I’m sure you’re on their main list, but it’s worth asking anyway.

If you entered on New Years eve I doubt it would be updated by now, they are too busy riding bikes

You save your pictures in a set

You then post them up in the group.

If you put them just in a set we can’t see them in the group.

A tip for newbies, for easy storage remember to date or number your shots to make sure they stay in order

Sod, it I’ve just taken my first (propper) photo of 2013, after 1 year off after 3 years of snapping in this group, I’ll see how I get on again a new pocket camera with lots of features & a smart phone with Instagram should make it a lot easier.

Don’t expect anything good though, here’s todays

    So, an idiot question…

    I’ve joined the group.

How does it work? How do I choose which photo goes into the group? I presume when I upload 10 photos from a holiday that they won’t all show in the group…

You take one photo every day and post that up on the group, you can take hundreds of shots that day but only the one that YOU think is best from that day can be posted up, no cheating as they are date stamped.

You can take a shot a day while on a holiday (or if your too busy to do it every evening) and post the shot a day up when you return in bulk.

    Good luck to you all.

    I did it in 2009, 2010 & 2011 but needed a break in 2012, maybe I’ll be back in 2014

If it helps those going for it this year you need to know the following.
It get’s hard from Mid Feb but easy again from after Easter, you will need to pay to be a Flickr Pro user after uploading about 200 photo’s (if you’re not a member already that is) but it’s only about £12 a year. Plus by mid year you’ll want to buy another camera.

    Here are my 3 years

It’s never a mud bath, about 20 puddles with a couple of deep one’s around the black, if going for two laps take a spare pair of socks and/or spare dry shoes and you’ll be fine.

It only closes if there’s bad snow and/or the approach road is frozen

The vast majority of dog owners, and particularly the sort who ask about such things before they go there, will pick up after their dogs.

    Ahem to that.

Northumerland doesn’t have dog bans and there are some of the cleanest beeches I know, hence why we go there but we’re looking for a change to a (slightly) warmer spot in 2013
