A life long fan here, who care’s if she doesn’t tour, it’s Kate, I’d travel the world to see her live.

I’m off on holiday with nothing planned for those two weeks as well, so a mid week show looks to be on the cards, assuming I’m quick off the mark next Friday at 9.30am

So, Crimea is a bit of land originally Russian, populated by a majority of Crimean Russians which is sitting of a bit of land that broke away from Russia, taking the mainly Russian populated Crimean region away from Russian.

There was a vote by people of the Crimea where over 80% of the population voted and they voted 93% to join Russia.

    Where’s the problem?
If the people want it, let them join back up with Russia where they want to be.

On this one I feel our leaders should back away and live and let live

air travel (in aeroplanes) is really pretty ‘safe’ (passenger numbers, miles flown). helicopters – not so much unfortunately

Helicopters are the motorbikes of the air

It’s not as though the cyclist provoked such an act of stupid driving.

There is no way the driver could have said he didn’t see the cyclist.

Driving ban at the very least.

My TV has loads of other channels on it, has yours?

I enjoy it so I watched it.

You know that Top Gear is just an entertainment program, you know you don’t like it. Turn over, turn it off, go ride your bike.

If you have a smaller inner tube it is more prone to it.

But with a heavy Surly Fat Bike tube in it’s never an issue apart from the extra weight

The tyres ok, it happens quite a lot.

Easy to cure, let the tyres down so you can rub hot soapy water around both sides of the rims with a brush.

    Start pumping.

Go up to around 30 to 40psi

    Leave it over night

In the morning lower the pressure to what you want.

    Problem cured

    More smiles per mile.

Get one test rode, plenty of locals will have them now, just let us know which county you’re in and you’ll sure to get a Fat Bikers saying “here try mine”.

Not an expert but I doubt it very much, what’s the point in a tyre that will only just fit in the frame, when it’s covered in mud it won’t spin.

Does anyone know if this is an active forum as I have tried to register twice in the last couple of weeks. I get the welcome e-mail but the activation e-mail never comes.

Are you using a dodgy looking username?

Have you checked your email server’s spam filter folders?

BB7’s are worth the little extra over BB5’s,

You can adjust the inner pads easier on BB7’s with the inner screw thing. You will get fed up of adjusting the brakes on the bolts as the inner pads wear out on a gritty ride with the BB5’s.

    Why cable?
Almost as good as the very best hydraulic brakes, easy to set up, cheaper, maintain and Superstar BB5 & 7 pads last for ages.
If you go down hill super fast use hydraulics, if you tour or XC but not to aggressively you won’t go wrong with BB7’s
