    Mine was boxed.
Looking at the firmware update I chose to stay with version 1 because of the recording at the top end is claimed to be better on version one.

The weather’s looking dry on the North west of England for the Merseyside coastal edition of GFB day on Saturday.

About a dozen riders already signed up over on UK Fat Bike forum.

Plus other group rides planned in
    Stoke on Trent
    Forest of Dean
    East Lothian
    Dorset

My Chinese one turned up today, looks good with plenty of kit and a nice feel but now it’s gone into hiding until Christmas 😥

Not received mine yet. ordered on the 4th November, so over 3 weeks now.

Same here, so at least it’s not just me then, it should be here by the 3rd December so the email said, talk about cutting it fine.

I may have asked this before but does the frame flex a lot in use?

For the use of a Gates Belt drive the frame has to be passed by Gates for stiffness to make sure the flex doesn’t cause the problem, so I believe

After 350 or so dry miles, after going through it’s first bit of gloopy mud when down in Dorset I now have a nice ornament hanging in my garage to remind me how useless it is.

Clocked up 1500+ miles on it’s replacement chain and cogs with a slight chain stretch and EEB tightening.
If in mud avoid, great for commuting on tarmac

Non of your “cool” bands above for me.

I’ve got December tickets for Madness, I was a massive fan in my teens but this will be the first time seeing them live.

I’ll put money on that not being a real advert. Funny though.

I’ve asked my mate who works there if it’s real, hopefully when he see’s my email tomorrow he’ll look into it and let me know and I’ll post up here his news.

Canals are ok, they won’t be too muddy but will be wet. Not that exciting though…..
If you want to drive down to Bredon hill near Evesham (45 mins) that’s got some good riding.

Cheers, but I’ll have been in the car all day, so the canal will be a de stress ride.

Thanks for yours and mboy’s help

Cheers Large418, I hate riding on roads, what about the canal tow paths, are they ride able this time of year or are they a “boggy mess” as well?

After 12 months don’t do too much and too often but enjoy it while it lasts you’ll have 6 great years.
Archie our Border Terrier is 7 now and he’s ok over short distances but we’ve stopped longer ride/runs as it makes his joints stiff afterwards now 🙁

PS this thread is useless without pictures 😉

I can highly recommend these http://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pets/dog/dog-healthcare/dog-health-supplements/flexible-joint-supplement-in-tasty-chicken-bites
