BB looks really tall. That’s what I don’t like about the Krampus, and that looks taller still. The Rooster geometry looks spot on for me.

It’s about as tall off the ground as most other bikes with 29″ wheels,
as for the overall size, I’m only 5’8″ with a 31″ inside leg and this is the large frame, fits me perfectly for long rides.

    Travers Rudy Fat (for gears)
Travers Angus (for SS or geared hub)
Forks now have bolt holes for anything cages.

It’s a fantastic long haul xc bike with a C17 brooks saddle and Jones H bars it just eats up the miles and great for bikepacking as well

Best ride from south to north so you have more chances of tail winds.

We stopped at the inner city airport hotel and found it good value and comfy but out of town a little but worth it for the walk

No. 6 months in and the promise (at interview) that the old days of unhappy customers and poor communications were behind them was a lie. It’s possibly worse now.

2 CV on route to better companies well out of the industry I’m sick and tired of

Just pressed send on the 2 CV’s, it feels good…..

Blue circle trail (I think it’s called) going to see the waterfalls, a glacier and geysers.
    Whale watching trip.
The hill above Reykjavik with the man made Geyser
The big church in the middle for the view from the top (missed this last time)

Take extra money for food that you plan or eat and the bus station cafe near the city airport.

For the Dakota I was recommended these which I picked up for a fiver locally at our ASDA (on offer) and they come out best in the reviews as well.
Just make sure you set your GPS to using Lithium batteries, now a couple of quid more.

I’ve just upgraded from an Etrex to a Dakota from Hantec with the bar mount for navigation and it’s perfect.
Got the whole of the UK on OS mapping for around £22 from http://www.ioffer.com from a retailer called Dazzler.
All 3 for atound £150 bargain

Go around you your local aquatic shops and ask their advise.

Not all shops have all the fish.

Don’t forget a couple of Corydorus cat fish as well.

Avoid guppies if you have barbs or some tetra’s like Serpea’s.

Look where they swim in the tanks as well, there’s no point having all your fish swimming at the top of the tank if it’s placed low down, so get a mix.

So, I repeat my first point
Go around you your local aquatic shops and ask their advise.

avid elixir, do i need a bleed kit?

    Nope. A dustbin will do.

Seconded, IMO the only good brakes from Avid are their cable BB7’s.

Sell them and buy something that works

No road bike, no commuting, no tarmac bashing to make up the miles, so all rides are mainly off road but I do live in the flat lands of the north Cheshire plains and because I drive with work I can’t be bothered driving to the hills too often at weekends, (hence the crap height)

    Year-to-Date
    Distance 4,943.8 miles
    Time 475h 23m
    Elev Gain 130,203 feet
    Rides 180

I’ll top the 5000 miles before the snow comes in tomorrow, then it’s Fat Bike miles at the beach until the New Year
