Just based around some issues a friend had with OO. Plus bits I’ve read on here if being honest.

The problem is that you hear about the problems because of social media and forums like this, but you don’t hear about all the good stuff.
I’ve had 5 bikes and loads of gear off them, I’ve never been a problem either collecting or delivering.

    He means like a Ford

Can anyone tell me the real differences between the fatty and the trail?

Oh I see ref the Ford

The Fatty is very Trail orientated but it was built around rigid forks, the Trail is built around Bluto’s.
So if you want to take the sting out of rough trials go for the trail, if you ride smooth trail centres got for the Fatty

Talk to me about this frame and its geo

Not a tapered head tube and standard QR’s on the back so not that future proof if you need to upgrade later on.

I’ll confess to having a stumbling block mentally when thinking about buying from OO but love the look of the Fatty.

Why? The on One Fatty is a fantastic trail fun fat bike and now the new On One “Trail” has Bluto’s fitted so you can’t go wrong at their prices.

Does anyone know the weight of a trek Farley carbon yet? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

It you are worrying about the weight of a Fat Bike you won’t enjoy it long term, it’s not about saving a pound or two it’s about the fun factor

If it’s managing staff and you’ve not done it before, get ready for the killer question.

“So, you are applying for the managers position but you have no leadership experience. Tell us how you can make the jump to be the team leader, what can you bring to the table?”

Maybe only you know the answer to this question, because I don’t just get ready for it.

    Be confident but not cocky.
Make them want to offer you the job.
And remember most people hate interviewing as much at you hate sitting in front of them, so make sure you leave them with a lasting memory of you.

So Enduro? = For when riding around a trail centre becomes to hard to navigate and you need to pay an even higher price to ride between two tapes so that you don’t get lost ;-)

    Sweet, I can’t wait! I’ve got a mid november delivery date….

What’s it like with a Rohloff? I’ve never used one. I’m going 2 x 10 to start off with, but may consider one when all that wears out

The Rohloff is perfect if you’re lazy like me and CBA’ed cleaning your bike. Just lube the chain when needed with PTFE lube and brush the dust/mud off when you have time.
It makes the back heavier when lifting it over gates but once it’s up to speed you can’t tell it’s there.
It was set up with a belt drive for 600 miles as a test rig but failed in mud. the chain and cogs that replaced the belt are still going strong 3000 miles and 18 months later with an oil change in the spring.
So the difference it starting to pay for itself already.
I’d defiantly have the same again

Look at a 29+ hardtail that’s been built for a shorter rider (say less than 5’8″) and it looks completely out of proportion.

    5′ 7.5″ here, I don’t agree

As mentioned above, on Knards it rolls for every

Just check your new “plus” bike is future proof.

Will it fit the even newer 3.25″ tyres?

Wildcat Tiger with the tapered Alpkit dry bag inside it.

Wildcat Ocelot in the frame so space for water bottles = nothing on my back

Alpkit Stem Cell, for snacks and camera.

Alpkit Kanga on the front with an Alpkit drybag. Perfect for 4 days and 3 nights wild camping around Northumberland this summer.

Tip – If you don’t have much room to carry kit you don’t end up filling it with stuff you’re not going to need.

If there is such a thing as an God (any God)

    1) why does he/she/whatever let nice people like ST Jenn get Cancer

    2) why can’t he/she/whatever then stop it

I would guess that in the history of the world more pepole have been killed by religion than any war.
Just imagine how nice it would be if all religions never started.
