iPad air here and it it much faster than my wife’s iPad 4 and the sons iPad mini. Really good and I would say the best iPad yet. Cases are at a premium as they are new so not a great choice. I went for the survivor case from John Lewis expensive yes quite heavy yes so negates the weight saving of the air but it is great and would definitely recommend it.

Thanks but the way the dock is designed the iPad fits into the body of it and forms a flat face. Have a look at it and you will see what I am trying to describe. Think I will keep it as the sound quality is excellent and it looks great and the kids can watch movies or sky go anywhere with decent sound.

Don’t upgrade and cancel they will offer better handsets. Or buy the moto g pay as you go and get a sim only deal better mins etc

I googled the settings for handbrake before they had iPad presets and found some really good sites (sorry can’t remember what they were). These worked really well and they are simple to add to the handbrake presets, try reinstalling it again as sometimes it does cause issues when converting.

Just got my Dad a contract through Ovivo on the freedom tariff was very skeptical at first but after three weeks use it’s great and works on the Voda network. The deal was you pay £20 for the SIM card and you get 200 mins 300 txt and 500mb of data. Once you register and activate the sim £15 of the original £20 is credited to your account as a top up if you go over your allowance. If they use up all of their monthly allowance and there credit (as a pay as you go) then the phone will stop working. The best thing is it is FREE and works that you watch a 5 sec advert when you connect to the internet which you can block on some phones. No way they can run up any bill at all as you do not need to input any bank details as you pay the initial £20 via PayPal. Hope this helps.

I have had the Bose Companion 3 set for about 4 years and cannot recommend them enough I like the control pod so you can control the sound at any point without having to touch anything on the pc. I did look at a few other ones which were :

    – BOSE Computer MusicMonitor 2.0 PC Speakers
    – HARMAN KARDON SoundSticks III 2.1 PC Speakers

I had this with my Iphone 5, take it to an apple store and they will run diagnostics on it. Found that one of the menus was corrupt, so they changed the phone for a new one without any problems.

I always go to ebuyer, this one is on their homepage and is within budget although there will many others. I personally wouldn’t go to PC world as they normally try and sell you the most expensive which doesn’t meet your requirements. Good luck

Motorola Razr I can be had for £150 pay as you go on three get it unlocked for £10 and stick your current contract in. Easy to use and pretty rugged. or go for iphone 5 on 3 with 1000 mins 5000txt and all you can eat data on 3 from the car phone warehouse for £25 per month

IPhone 5 here and have had no problems at all definitely better than the 4s in my opinion. Currently paying £25 pm for 1000 mins 5000 txt and all you can eat data on 3 so £37 pm seems a bit steep but it depends on coverage where you are if 3 is worth looking at.

I use the powerline adapters with BT infinity and have little or no drop in speed. Contact BT and they will send you some out for free, complain that your speed has dropped and say you cannot plug your PC in to router directly as it is upstairs and they will send you some out.

Had the 1.4 tsi jetta gt with the 170 bhp (57 plate) and its was great no complaints with anything about the car. Wife has the 1.2 tsi polo and that is even better even though I doesn’t have as many horses. The VAG diesels are great for economy but when something goes wrong it normally costs. I had a 55 plate passatt 2.0tdi and oil pump went £2000 to sort out wasn’t worth it so sold car and bought a mark 4 golf gti 2.0 petrol

I will probably get lots of abuse but Centre Parcs is great with the kids as there is loads for them to do. You don’t have to spend too much either take food with you couple of nights out in the restaurants and the pool normally keeps my two happy (6 & 20 months)

Get a forward facing car seat, they don’t need to be rear facing till they are 4. Best place for advice is mothercare then do your homework on the internet and order from there. We did that with both of ours

Both a good tablets have both at home. I prefer the ipad as the screen and feel of in my opinion are better than the nexus. Photo editing on the ipad is great loads of apps free and paid which work a treat. Videos can be a pita as you have to convert them all to apple format but apart from that cant fault the ipad at all

Land Registry is the only definitive way to find out, you can either use the web to order the registered title or go to the local office which is generally easiest. Cost approx. £7 for title and plan depending on size of the plan associated with the title.

If you are anywhere near a Mcarthurglen designer outlet that has an Oakley Vault you can pick some up there pretty cheap. I got the Livestrong jawbones with polaroid, yellow and clear lens for £100 including the case.

Don’t bother with Coney. Spend the time in Manhattan and enjoy. Its been a couple of years since we have been but we found a great diner on the corner of W28 with 5th Avenue (Café 28) near the museum of sex. Or there is a really good one (Pizza) on the corner near the main library in Manhattan. There is also an excellent one downstairs to the Broadway Plaza Hotel on Broadway which is mainly for locals but the food is fantastic think it was called Broadway pizza.

Milan is great just keep a hold of any valuables. There are cheap places to stay if you are brave enough don’t book just turn up and you do get rooms cheaper. Turin is also worth a visit and is quite a bit cheaper than Milan you can also relive the Italian job.

I bought THIS for £1150 from Start Cycles in Newcastle and have found it to be great never been out on the Stumpjumper FSR since I got it. With regards to topping up in the past it was down to the shop where you are getting the bike from if they will let you do it

With giff gaff you will need to check if they allow tethering as part of the £12 or if you have to pay more for it as other networks do. The one plan on 3 allows tethering and I have used this for 4 yeas now and have no complaints

Sky go uses ALOT of bandwidth when we first starting using it my son watching the kids channel no more than 1 hour per used 11 gb in 2 weeks ok we were using the Internet also but not streaming so I think a 3G dongle may not be what your looking for. Possibly look at a 30 day rolling contract on 3 for their one plan £25 pm but you get all you can eat data however you will need a phone which creates its own wifi hotspot for the net book to link to. Never had any problems doing this but has to be the one plan. Hope this helps and hope your Dad recovers soon
