I had the same problem-Don’t send to TF as they ended up sending it onto mojo anyway adding a week onto turnaround.

Bee line- A play on A-line because we also had a problem with ground nesting bees

Spooky wood-its a bit err spooky, tight pine wood, dark at the best of times, doesn’t take much to get lost on a night ride

Got introduced to dueling banjos the other night- singletrack that splits in two allowing riders to race each other to the point where it merges again.

All the others are a bit descriptive and dull 🙁

I’ve ordered a few bits and found them great. The time delay is a pain but necessary to get the deals. Have you considered applying the size filters at the top of the page?

Think I’ll just bleed them, no need for a service as theyre only a few months old

He’s done quite a lot of payroll and accounts for a farm shop and cafe so has a decent idea.
We’re between york and Scarborough so harrogate will be too far really especially on trainee salary.

Put some stuff in you don’t often see on the trail, and also build in some stuff you can’t do at the moment to account for progression.
One thing I love putting trails I dig is an S bend of berms with a roller in the middle.

I’ve cancelled policies with LV, both monthly and annually paid and they are great at refunding, just a £40 cancellation fee. If you are cancelling a monthly policy I would just try and get it in line with direct debit, IE cancel the day before next payment goes out.

I’ve always used park Polly Lube (http://tinyurl.com/p738jq8) in shimano hubs and it seems to hold. Where are you using grease in cartridge bearings?

How about seeing if you can get a reverse thread nut and bolt to throw them a little.
Or a large head torx bolt.

I would have a look at all your frame bearings, I had a spell where I went through loads of top bushing on my Fuel Ex because the pivots weren’t moving properly so too much force was going on the bushings.

Well I’m trying to be optimistic and get some short stuff 🙂

I sold a 2008 Trek fuel ex8 a bit ago for £750 with lots of upgraded bits so you should be able to get something like a 6 or 7 for £500. If you get one though check the bearings because if they get corroded in its a hell of a job getting them out.

Just do it, When I first raced I was terribly slow but it soon gave me something to aim for. I wouldn’t go straight into nationals, partly as they are not as welcoming and also the courses tend to be quite dull, (In my experience.) Depending on where you’re based I would go for something like Nutcracker or Brownbacks.

I’m 5′ 10″ ( but long legs short torso) and have a 70mm stem and 720mm bars and in my first few rides feels great.

Some Bits of dalby are good but its getting rougher.
There are some great bits of singletrack on the moors. If you do decide to come to the moors give me a shout and I’ll send you some good GPX files over.

+1 for pushing some more fluid in, especially the lever but be ready with a rag and the screw to stop and catch any overflow.

+1 for the railway, if you get chance, get off at levisham and take a walk up to skelton tower (look on OS)

Spinning up long climbs I say the days of the week over and over- it helps block out the pain 🙂

I thoroughly recommend it- I’ve done it for the past 3 years and love it-good technical stuff both on and off waymarked trails, and a tough race for the distance but well worth it. Also excellently organised.

I’ve had a similar problem from putting too much fluid in when bleeding. In my experience just letting fluid out of the lever bleed port does the trick. Do small amounts at a time not taking the screw all the way out to reduce air bubbles drawn in.
